Dwayne was our tour guide and he was excellent. Reason for the two stars is b/c the Library of Congress was closed for the day b/c of POTUS. They didn't find out till 9am when the tour started. I realize this is out of their control, however, nothing was done to help address the part of the tour we didn't get. Dwayne gave us some information (again he was great), but there was no suggestion of getting the Library portion a different day, how to obtain tickets on our own, a partial refund, nothing. I sent three messages via Viator with no response. Then I requested a 25% refund (even though it's half the trip) and was denied. The tour customer service is what I have the issue with. So know that if an issue comes up, you will still pay full price despite not getting what you paid for.

Dywane is super knowledgeable and engaging. The wife and I enjoyed his tour. He makes you want to see more of the city and has suggestions for getting the most out of your trip. Last year he recommended we vist the Dulles Airspace museum since the smithsonian is getting renovated and we had a blast. Can't recommend this tour enough. Worth it.

The guide was knowledgeable. He spent equal attention to all members to the group answering questions and making sure that everybody was on the same page. The visit started and ended on time, and everything went smooth.

Dwayne was an outstanding guide! We were so impressed by his immense knowledge of our nation’s history and his ability to deliver that information in an engaging way.
I learned so much more on this tour than I was expecting to. The landmarks we visited were beautiful and had so much history.
I highly recommend this tour!

Dwayne was our guide. He was great and very knowledgeable. My son is a history buff so I thought this would be a good tour. There was soo much more to learn than we expected. The Capitol and Library of Congress are exquisite buildings. Well worth it.
