This tour is ideal for those who want to take advantage of every minute in Costa Rica, discovering some of the country’s nocturnal wonders in a night hike. We will begin our tour in a small town known as La Tigra, located just 30 minutes from La Fortuna. Once we arrive, we will take the trail in to a small patch of rainforest in the process of regeneration with some mirrored lakes, which facilitate wildlife observation. You can expect to see species like nocturnal birds and mammals, insects, amphibians, bats, and more.

Albert was AMAZING. He was so knowledgeable about all wildlife. We saw poisonous frogs, toads, spiders and a sloth!

Excellent tour guide (Mariano - forgot his name) and the driver (Johnny). The guide was knowledgeable. He ensured that we saw red eyed frog , unless we saw it he kept going and also helped me clicked pic. The highlight of the tour was also The home cooked meal by locals. It was delicious. Overall highly satisfied and recommend.

What a fun mini adventure! Joseph was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable and we saw so many interesting animals, plants and insects. The property, and the family who owns and hosts the experience was incredible, the food was amazing, and the tour benefits the environment with a very inspiring story. Thanks for a great night!

The tour was excellent - we saw several species of frogs (including poisonous dart frogs), snakes, sloths, and various insects. Kids enjoyed the tour , it was well organized and tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Amazing tour! Collected from out hotel by Kendry. 1-1.5 hour tour where we saw lots of frogs, a mum sloth with her baby, snail eating snake etc! Followed by a delicious meal cooked by a lovely family at their gorgeous home!! Very special evening to remember.

This was one of our best experiences in Costa Rica. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the experience felt intimate and personal. We shared a homemade meal which was wonderful, had great conversation and saw lots of frogs and insects! Highly recommend.

Jasmine was a fantastic tour guide. To start, the meeting location was easy to find and a quiet convenient location to leave our vehicle. The drive to the start of the tour was enjoyable and entertaining. The walk through the garden and forest were beautiful. We were able to see many frogs, spiders, birds and even a sloth. Dinner was delicious and the family who prepared it was wonderful, we enjoyed some piano and singing by their son while we ate dinner. Would do this again if I return to La Fortuna.

This was a great experience for all, particularly the kids. We saw the expected, frogs and lizards, and were thrilled to see the sloth with baby and ocelot with its meal. Our guide, Harvin, was excellent. The meal was good, but it would’ve been nice to have some flexibility, particularly as it relates to the kids.
