The whole 911 museum is done beautifully
Tells the story well. Definitely get headphones. Short films are eye opening. The outside area and pools are beautiful and well maintained. Lots of helpful staff to ask questions
Didn’t do a guided tour. Just on my own with headphones
Times entrance was great although not really necessary on the day I went. Wasn’t overly crowded

Such a wonderful experience and would fully recommend to anyone who is visiting New York. The only issue we had was that our tickets weren’t emailed through to us. We spoke to a very helpful man working for the museum who took us straight to the front of the line and sorted out the issue.

Actually seeing things that I have only seen on tv in person .
It was a very emotional experience . It brings you back to that unbelievable day . And seeing pictures and belonging of the people that lost their lives. Regardless of how many people where there is was a quiet somber visit .

The photo gallery of the victims. Seeing them all together really made me feel the horror of the day.

This is a somber experience. Very interesting seeing the damage done. The museum is well played out and the workers are helpful.

We could have spent 4 hours there instead of 2. If you are in a hurry, be sure to go downstairs and see the inside museum first before all the rest. You'll know you are in the right spot when you see the sign that says no pictures allowed.

This museum is absolutely excellent. It covers the towers from how they were constructed, to the attack in 1993 and then 9-11. It does so in a very dignified and moving way. It also covers the health issues many of the first responders have had to deal with post 9-11.
The photographs and mementoes of those lost that day are especially poignant.

An absolute must do when in the city. We are in our 40s and remember that day with vivid clarity. We took our teenagers and our 70 year old parents to the Memorial and Museum and it was impactful to all of us.
At home, I play 9/11 documentaries. I talk about the attacks and where I was that day, and try to express and emphasize the importance, but it’s just not enough. I wanted my teenage children to really grasp and understand what happened on 9/11 and how many lives were affected. The museum and memorial did an amazing job honoring those lost, those that survived, and all of us that remain affected.
