Wow! Of all the amazing experiences we had during our 2-week Italy vacation, this was hands-down the BEST! Our tour guide, Tomaso (Tom) was amazing! The horseback ride was full of the most breathtaking views we could have imagined, San Gimignano was the coolest little medieval town, and the winery lunch included excellent service, wines, & food! We highly recommend! Worth every cent!

Book this tour immediately and try to request Daniel as your guide! Horseback riding in the Tuscan countryside is such a special experience, but the real highlight for us (two female Americans in our 30s) was the winery stop. We had such a great group of travelers and Daniel made the whole experience safe and fun for us. 100% recommend and would definitely repeat the experience.

Our guide Christian was great, told us lots of interesting details about the places we visited and made the minivan trip fun by playing some famous Italian opera songs, and a few other more recent songs.
The horse ride was fun for me as I had no experience riding, but others who were riders, were disappointed at the slow pace.
There was no mention in the tour notes about wearing long pants, so a couple of girls in shorts received scratches on their legs from bushes close to wear the horses trod.
Time to ourselves in San Gimignano was a nice way to explore at our own pace, and the lunch at a chianti winery was beautiful.
Highly recommend this tour

Horseback riding in wine country (Tuscany) - what could be better? We signed up and Tomasso was our guide. He was really easy to talk to - very friendly and full of information.

I’ll admit that I thought the riding would be the best part. It was fun being back in the saddle again since I rode often as a child, but the push-button horses were a bit slow. I still thoroughly enjoyed the views, though. I think that for less-experienced riders this would be unintimidating and very special. Giacomo was in charge of the horses and he’s an expert rider. He wasn’t our guide, though. Tomasso rode along with us. He and Giacomo took photos so nobody would drop their phones - or the reins.

Next was our visit to San Gimignano. It’s a gorgeous medieval town. After giving us some history and pointing out the Gelateria Dondoli, Tomasso turned us loose to explore. I wish we had had more time. There were many art galleries and we bought some pieces in two of them. We’ll just have to go back another time.

Finally, we arrived at Corvucci Wines for a wine-tasting extravaganza. I thought it was just a Chianti tasting, but we tried it all - Prosecco, a white, a rose, a Chianti and some Super Tuscans. All were delicious. We bought some to be shipped home. The lunch itself was also wonderful. And, it was fun to pet and visit with the family’s Mastiff and pug. They were adorable.

Thanks again to Tomassso, Giacomo and Francesco Corvucci for a memorable experience. The photos were an added bonus.
