On board the comfortable safari truck, we head to the “Rancho Limón” where we will enjoy a delicious coffee, roasted and prepared in a traditional style.

Afterwards, we set off on a fantastic and unforgettable horse or mule ride along a steep, stony mud path, past rivers and mountains and through a dense and humid tropical forest.

Salto del Limón, located in a protected area, is a 40 m (approx.) waterfall that culminates in a pool of crystal clear water.

We will enjoy a refreshing dip in the water at the foot of the waterfall.

The scenery around Limón is beautiful with small wooden houses painted in bright colours.

Note: Not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Not advisable for pregnant women.

I am 73 and the stairs and the horseback adventure were a bit challenging to me. My guide was great and he helped through the whole thing. The waterfall was worth it though.

The site is spectacular but those who exploit it do so without mercy. They charge you 400 pesos to leave the car and if you want to walk they insist non-stop that you spend 1500 on a horse. It's a shame that they treat independent tourists like this. There are many parking lots so they change until the person is decent and allows them to go as they want. What a pity

We had a lot of fun. Very different than other excursions. My husband rode a horse and I rode a mule. I was a little intimidated at first, but Tony and Carlito were so helpful. It rained so hard, but it was still so beautiful! Highly recommended, but be aware that it is very hilly for horseback riding and walking. Go for it!

The guides were very good and they provided us with high-top boots and helmets (we noticed that other local operators did not provide them). The photographer was very nice and sent us all the photos for 30 dollars.
The excursion is very fun, the bath in the jump was great, the only drawback was that we spent little time in the bathroom.

Horses are not treated with great respect. The guides ask for a good tip in advance and the visit time to the falls is very short

You will be offered horses to ride to the waterfall. If you are not a rider, take the path on foot, it is very passable and easy. Nice walk with bath as a reward.

Our excursion with Runners was great. Our guide Junior, T was very knowledgable. He provided us a great opportunity to see and understand the culture and what life is like in Republica Dominicana.
One of my favorite parts of the tour was stopping at La Casa de Maria. The grounds were beutiful and well maintained. The food was amazing and everyone was very pleasant. It was very fun, Gracias!
