Abu Dhabi City Tour From Dubai

Perhaps it was the intense heat, our lack of preparation and information, or that our tour guide was having an off day. Whatever the reason, this tour was horrible. I had been looking forward to visiting the Grand Mosque and considered it a highlight of my visit to Abu Dhabi. Our tour guide was rude, impatient, unengaged, and offensive. He did not provide any direction or guidance. He would literally drive us to a place, tell us what it was, and say he would be back in 20 minutes. He would come into certain spaces and rush folks back onto the van. In a word, terrible! It’s unfortunate that this is the way I will remember my trip to Abu Dhabi.

Our Driver was very nice, HOWEVER, I would not recommend this tour to anyone. There were 7 of us packed in an SUV/ 4x4 which was not the most comfortable for an hour to and from Abu Dhabi.
I should have just booked a half day tour, saw the mosque ( which was our primary goal), and ent back to Dubai to have the rest of the day available to do and see other things.

We went to a “museum” and rug shop after the mosque ( no one wanted to buy anything). We also went to heritage village which we could have spent just 15 minutes to see.

I was looking forward to going into the palace ( which was supposed to be apart of this tour), but it was closed ! How does the tour operator NOT know that, before collecting our money and taking us on the trip. He tried to take us to the louver museum to spend additional money to buy tickets to enter, which none of us wanted to do. At this point we were tired, disappointed, and just wanted to go home. We asked if we could just get back early, but I think the people at the company advised our driver to keep us out there the whole time.
We then went out to Ferrari World where we spent way too much time with nothing to do.

We would have just been happy to get back to Dubai early, and maybe even spend some time on the beach or at the pool.

We finally left Abu Dhabi ~5:30 in the heart of rush hour and did not get back to my hotel in Dubai until ~7:30!! We could have avoided the traffic if we just would have left When we asked. I had a dinner reservation in Dubai for the evening that I had to cancel because this Abu Dhabi tour was just a way to much. We are only here for a week, so having most of a perfectly good day wasted is not the best use of my vacation time.

Extremely fun trip. Our guide was so knowledgeable and he answered every question we had. I love to learn and the tour kind was exceptional! He taugh us Mosque etiquette and even had Clothes that my wife could wear

It was terrible for me. They transportation was a small suv and I got stuck in the back middle seat. All the passengers paid the same money and it is not fair that a short fat guy took the front sit and I have to get stuck in the middle back seat. By the time the small car came to my hotel to pick me up they already had people inside and there were no sits available but the small sit. I would NOT RECOMMEND to take this tour because you do not get a big enough car and they do not care about all their guests being comfortable.

Well organized tour with well manner and experience tour Zahid give us it was wonderful experience in lie Zahid given all information visited mosque an palace Masha Allah The great president of UAE Allah bless him and give place in Jinnah on construction of Mosque love it

It was fun.... Saw a few cool places... Driver could've been friendlier but we still had a blast. Definitely recommended

Worst tour ever. We booked a tour in English but the driver wasn‘t able to speak English and didn‘‘t know how to get to the places. So he brought us to 3 places instead of the 7 the tour offers.
He was just a driver nothing more.
The tour shout start at 9 am with a pick up at the hotel but he picked us up at 11 am. We had nit a tour just a driver who hat huge problems to find the way to the Mall the Palace of Emirates and the Mosque. The other p places we couldn‘t visit. He just didn‘t like that.
The agency lied much about picking up. So they said the driver was at 9 at the hotel and could not find us and so on. Viator is a very bad agency. Please be carefully in booking there.
Nevermore Viator. Worst ever!

It was just a perfect tour and a 'not to miss' experience. I booked the full day tour of Abu Dhabi for my family through Klook. Got a confirmation of the booking as per the preferred date and a with a good discount. This tour was conducted by the Orient tours and the itinerary was just perfect with everything that was part of the package. We were picked up from the Hotel early in the morning around 8 right after the breakfast by a well spoken chauffeur to a common point where we had to board a big AC bus. We didn't have to wait much and the tour started after picking few more people on the way. The tour guide Muhammed was really good with lot of knowledge about history of UAE, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He is very reasonable and his coordination of the tour was very professional due to which we didn't lose or wasted any time in any of the sightseeing location. He kept us engaged all through the tour and covered all the places that were part of the itinerary. We covered Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque, The cultural museum, Abu Dhabi City, Abu Dhabi Corniche and Ferrari World visit on the way back to Dubai. It was a little tiring but we got enough breaks to refresh ourselves.

Overall, we enjoyed the day tour with lot of shopping wherever we got to pick some souvenirs and most importantly authentic UAE dates. We were finally dropped back at our hotel at around 8 PM.

I did the Abu Dhabi City tour as a part of their 3 tour combo with Oceanair and had a great time. I must say from the beginning if the booking this company contacted me and stayed in contact throughout the entire experience and beyond. Their staff from the website personnel (that helped book the tours) to the tour guides were efficient professional courteous well informed and took great pride in their work. This was reflected in their enthusiasm and concern dated all participants had a good time. Paulo you were amazing funny gracious informative sweet and super efficient. We were able to get into the white Mosque in 9 minutes (including security checks!). He kept us on schedule without feeling rushed and gave us a lot of information...Paulo takes the best pictures as well. It was an enjoyable tour and I'm glad we did it with Oceanair

Interactive driver, and so much information that we can get from him, and price also good price , explore Abu Dhabi with a good vehicle and good air condition so we feel comfortable even for sharing group tour
