Gorgeous hike. Def a must if visiting Barcelona. Both tour guides were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Truly enjoyed it.
The train to the peak was closed off that day so that was indeed extremely disappointing. Wish we had known before so would have booked a different date. We were flying back next day so couldnt revisit. Hoping Viator can compensate by giving some refund as we missed out on the crust of the trip

Very beautiful site. The hiking and tour group were good. Directions to pick up were wrong in Google Maps, use another source. Montserrat is very, very commercialized. It was also very crowded in what we were told was the "off season". We are glad we went and saw the beauty of the place and glad we chose this tour company, but be prepared for large crowds, long waits for everything.

This tour was not what we expected. We felt rushed through the Monestary, had no time to view the original main entrance except from afar, had little time to eat and no time to visit the museum. We spent a lot of time waiting for the other groups to join us.

The tour guide (Chris) was really nice and helpful. He explained everything really well and went out of his way to help us and answer all of our questions.

However, this tour was very rushed, and the drive there and back was so horrible, that I got very sick and threw up on the bus.

The meet up was at 8:30am but we were on the bus until 10:30am… and so since we were behind schedule due to traffic, we didn’t get much free time to explore.
