We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, education, and tasting. Our guides were approachable, humorous and spoke with candor. We came away with a better understanding of sake and the confidence to decipher the unique characteristics to purchase sake in the future. So much so that we are sitting on the Shinkansen enjoying a bottle that we actually knew we would like and why before buying!

Very knowledgeable guide, good English speaker (Australian). This tour is a great introduction to the making of sale and the variety of tastes available. Having a starting knowledge of sale, we discovered a lot of good quality and varied sakes

A fully comprehensive and interesting Sake experience. All bases covered in a really interesting way. Three hours very well spent. I liked also that there was no pressure to buy any products in the brewery store (even though we did - a healthy hands off approach!)

This was one of the best drinking/tasting tours we've ever done. Greg is amazing! Can't recommend it enough. The food pairing really elevates the experience. I learned a ton about sake! And Fushimi is a lovely area to get some peace away from the crowds of Kyoto. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this experience. The content was interesting and engaging, and the host was extremely knowledgeable and personable. I wish I'd signed up for the advanced class but I'll do that next time I'm in Kyoto.
