We visited 5 places to eat and drink. at all places the food and drinks were very tasty and more then expected. we drink a beer, white wine, empanadas and of very good bottle of malbec wine with a great selection of meats from the barbecue grill and a great ice cream.
Our guide Antonella was very nice and it was one of my best food tour I ever did.

We had a really great tour of the San Telmo market, and surrounding area as we ate our way through town. Our guide was lovely....warm and fun to talk to. And there was just one other family of 3 on our tour. It was a wonderful way to spend a few hours and well worth the money and calories!

It was a very fun and enjoyable afternoon. It ended up just being my husband and I so we essentially had a private tour. We loved our tour guide - she took us to four different spots. We had lots of great food and drinks and it was fun exploring San Telmo, which we hadn’t previously seen yet. Would highly recommend to others!

Food tours are one of the best ways to get to know a city. A friend recommended Parrilla Tour and it did not disappoint. We did the tour of San Telmo. Started with empanadas, a walk around a good market, then enjoyed our first choripan. Finally, we ended at a traditional parrilla (Argentine steak house). The food was incredible and our guide, Antonella, was so informative not just about food but about the history of the city. We brought our children and my 7 year old asked if we could do a food tour every day during vacation. The best!

Lots of Italian influence in Buenos Aires and it is reflected in their dialect and food. We met our guide, German, at Pedro Telmo restaurant which was run by an Italian family. Baked empanda with no sauce was accompanied by Americano Gancia, an Italian aperitivo that is diluted with sparkling water to taste. Next our group of seven guests walked through the Mercado San Telmo, a food and craft market. It was a fun experience to walk through the streets to learn history and the food of the neighborhood. Our second stop had a delicious chorizo sausage sandwich with three different sauces. Malbec wine paired nicely with the sirloin and flank/skirt steak and 3 different sauces at the next stop. The last stop was for gelato and the end of our tour.

We did this as family and had a terrific time. Hector, the guide, was outstanding. He was full of great information and was fun and energetic. We'll definitely do this again when we come back to BA,

I highly recommend this experience with German. We ate at quintessential BA foods at excellent local restaurants with German providing background and insight. He was a great host and we never felt rushed.

The Parilla food tour in San Telmo was a great introduction to Buenos Aires. German had great expertise on the food, wine, and neighborhood. The food was delicious and nicely paired with the wine. German did a great job in teaching us about Argentine cuisine. He knew all the restauranteurs and they seemed to give us special attention. The experience was excellent and a lot of fun.
