This trip takes you through the interior of the rain forest. Pass through villages dotted along the coastline. Journey by boat up the Black River, Jamaica’s longest river, where you’ll see exotic birds, plants, and wildlife such as the endangered American crocodile. Take a trip to historic “Bamboo Avenue”, then to the Y.S. falls where you can enjoy nature in its natural state, as the cool refreshing water cascades down approximately 120 feet into the Y.S. River.

As a group of 6 we were able to be our own tour group. Cargill was our driver and tour guide. He did an excellent job for us. It was a long but interesting ride and he made it enjoyable by sharing information about the country and some amusing Jamaican proverbs. He went the extra mile by supplying us with some delicious local fruits for snacks as well. Cargill helped make this adventure very fun for all of us.
The safari, the falls, and the Appleton Distillery were all great destinations. We have nothing but good things to say about all of the people who worked at these places. They were helpful, informative, and had a great sense of humor. We highly recommend taking this wonderful excursion.
