Private Vatican Experience

Recently, my wife, our 20-year son and I visited Rome from the U.S. We reviewed many options for private tours. We were fortunate to have spent two afternoons of private tours with Giovanna Terzulli. Our first afternoon was of the Colosseum and Forum, and the second of the Vatican and Vatican museums. Giovanna was reasonably priced, super easy to work with, arranged our tickets in advanced, and met and toured us magnificently. She is kind, very knowledgeable, speaks perfect English, could adjust her tour to our needs and inclinations, and was personable and lovely. I cannot say enough great things about her.

Sarah was our teacher and she really was able to impart to us the background information and identification of all parts of the vatican and the dates and history behind them. She was especially adept at knowing how to get us to our breakfast and how to get around some of the crowds. Always felt like we were moving along and not held up by others. She emphasized the highlights and was always asking if we had questions and offering other items or areas to see. Tried to be honing in on what we wanted to get from the experience.

Our tour guide Daniella was engaging, knowledgeable and personable. She did a great job addressing our questions and providing us with right amount of information.

Sara was communicative and it was easy to arrange and book this tour. She was very knowledgeable and we leaned much about Vatican City and the history of the Catholic Church. She knew where to stop and rest and how to best manage the crowds. 💯 recommend skipping the line and being guided by Sara! We will book with her in the future.

This was a five star private tour!

Franz was informative, funny, and skilled at teaching us about the art and history of Vatican City. Engaging for our adult kids in their early 20’s as well as for my husband and I. I was in awe during the visit to the Sistine Chapel and Franz helped us appreciate this masterpiece to the fullest extent. Highly recommend!!!

Our tour guide Rosy was the best guide out of all the tours we took in Rome! She was so knowledgeable, entertaining, and excited to share the history of her hometown with us. Our family enjoyed it so much even when tired from a week of exploring. I would also recommend booking directly, as we had a horrible experience with Viator messing up our dates and wasting our time.

Sara was a fantastic guide through the Vatican museums! We also hired her for a second day to take us to the Colosseum and many other historical spots in Rome. She was so friendly and knowledgeable! She has great passion and love of the city! She taught us so much and could answer any possible question we had. I highly recommend hiring Sara to show you around Rome.

Sara was amazing. She studied history in school so her breadth and depth of knowledge is deep. Her English is flawless. She is also genuinely nice and very cool. Walking through the museum and chapel is just spectacular, it is not to be missed. Having an informative guide with you really completes the experience. Request Sara. I promise it will be fantastic.

Based on a recommendation from a friend, we booked Sara for a "skip the line" private tour of the Vatican for our family of four (15yo and 19yo daughters) in early July, and it was the highlight of our entire stay in Rome! My husband and I have both been to the Vatican several times but we learned so much MORE walking with Sara for 3 hours, in addition to her extra recommendations for restaurants and interesting things to do. She is extremely knowledgeable but more than that she is personable, warm and funny. It was a joy to spend that time with her and now our daughters can't wait to go back! Absolutely worth the money - don't hesitate to book.
