There was only another couple and my wife on this tour. Our guide was really engaging and informative. The food at all the stops was quite good. I wish in hindsight that I purchased cheese at the Cheese shop we visited.

We enjoyed our first ever trip to Amsterdam by starting out with a food and walking tour guided by the amazing David! A young man with a vast knowledge of his home town and the neighborhood he grew up in! We had six stops and got the true taste of the community and everything it had to offer - apple pie with whipped cream!! Indonesian food!! Delicious meats at a local butcher’s shop!! Chocolate and waffles at a local sweets shop!! A lovely cheese shop for a taste of four local cheeses and a bottle of wine!! And finally a stop at a pub for a local beer and some bitterballen. Incredible value, and a fun and interesting tour of this little corner of Amsterdam.

Our guide, Mark, was the best part of our tour. We had many questions which he answered and we never felt rushed. Each tasting was delicious and informative.

Fabulous food tour. We were fortunate to have Nora as our excellent guide. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. Her culinary background added to our experience. The food places visited were outstanding and gave us a wonderful overview of the food. Each was unique and delicious. Especially enjoyed the delicious dutch apple pie. Nora was great!! She had a lot of knowledge about the area and the Jewish culture. Highly recommend this tour and Nora.

I loved because we stopped in places where Dutch people like to eat or shop! Bo has great sense of humor and extensive knowledge in history and architecture. Makes you love Dutch people!

My husband was off for business so i decided to make the most of my day. What a good way to spend an afternoon. We started with strudel and then went to a deli and tried different sausages. They were local sausages and were delicious. After that we went to a restaurant for a rice table( small Asian bites) . Also very good. Then we went to a cheese shop and sampled local cheeses. Our final stop was a bar where we tried the local drink Ginaveer. Each place offered us beer or wine. Also we got information about Amsterdam and history about WW1 and how locals survived the Natzi infiltration. Very educational. The guide was excellent.
