I must say upon arrival to Palenque, the tour itself was exceptional. The tour guide was very thorough and I learned a lot. My entire group spoke glowing of their experience as well.
Now, for the disappointing part. There were 4 adult men on the tour. They sent a private driver to pick us up. He showed up in a small Geo. We could barely fit 3 in the back. As we were going there 30 minutes into the ride, his radiator belt broke. We had to stand on the side of the road in 99° temperature for over an hour waiting for another ride. They sent another driver and his car was smaller than the one we were just in. The ride was miserable to and from. We would expect to get half of our money returned to us!
