This Hop On Hop Off Sightseeing bus tour was great! We had booked a tour to go to the University and the book of Kells but the campus was closed due to protestors at the last minute so we had about 4 hours to fill! This bus definitely met our needs and I was glad I booked it. We saw so many other places and the tour guide was excellent giving us details of what we were seeing. There were so many I took notes! A lot of details were given that we would have missed on our own, like the bullet hole in the breast of the statue of a woman.

What a great way to see the city of Dublin. The route covered so many areas and historic points. The driver (Ger) was a great guide making the trip even more interesting and fun with his facts on the way.Highly recommend and great value for money.

Great to have the 2-day pass as we weren’t sure how long we’d want to spend at the various spots. We appreciated the ‘extras’ including the discounts available. It was also great that the tour narration was recorded and sound quality was strong. I’ve done similar tours with other companies that relied on the driver’s voice through a microphone that couldn’t be hear on the top of the bus. Free headphones were provided but we did not need them. I’m sure it would be helpful for those needing translated narration. The audio was clear and well timed.

Great experience, plus we had a wonderful commentator driver that made the tour around the city more enjoyable. I usually do Bid Bus, but I decided on this one.

We’ve used this service on our 48 hour ticket both to get around and as a break for us and the kids! We enjoyed the live tour from 3 different drivers, all with a different personality, but all brilliant. We also experience some real kindness from drivers waiting for us as we were running for the bus - very much appreciated.

Waste of time and $$. It would have taken 2 1/2 hrs by car to get to the cliffs. It took 4 hrs by the tour bus. Itinerary said we had 1 1/2 hours at the cliffs but we were only allowed 40 minutes and 10 of them were spent in line waiting to use the restroom. We were able to take a few pictures and then it was time to return to the bus. There wasn’t any time to explore the inside exhibits and this was the main focus of the tour. We stopped at a cafeteria style restaurant in the middle of nowhere for lunch. Our tour guide told us how much time we had at each stop and what time to get back on the bus. That’s it. No commentary. We did NOT view St John’s castle and nothing was mentioned about it or the River Shannon. Our driver didn’t know the route and the tour guide kept giving out directions. We finally made it to Dunratty Castle after a few missed turns. Itinerary said the tour lasts 11 hours but our tour ended after 10. I’m very disappointed we didn’t get our full time as advertised at the cliffs. Also, we are on a big white bus—-not the Paddywagon bus as advertised.

Well, my flight to Dublin from New York was cancelled so I couldn't go to Dublin. Even though I reached out to this tour company letting them know that I won't be able to attend this, they didn't cancel my booking and didn't get me the refund. I don't think I will ever use Viator for any tours again.
