Our Licensed native English speaking will meet you at 10.00 AM in the lobby of Your accommodation in Taormina, Giardini Naxos or Letojanni. After 20 minutes driving with 8 seats air-conditioned minivan you will reach Forza D’Agrò, a real and authentic small Sicilian village. Take a Walking tour of the old town and visit the places where The Godfather movie was played. After a Walking tour of the village with explanation of Sicilian authentic culture and way of leaving You will drive towards Savoca, the second Sicilian small village where the movie was played. The famous Bar Vitelli where Michael Corleone met the father of his future wife Apollonia. Then walk 5 minutes to reach Saint Lucy Church where they got married. While taking the walking tour Your Guide will introduce you the real history of Sicilian Mafia, how it grows up and spread very fast all around Italy. You will listen about the real structure (cupola), about its Boss and about the Mafia clan wars to control the territory. You will discover how 2 Sicilian Officers (Falcone and Borsellino) thanks also to some “Mafia repented men”, were very near to discover the truth about Mafia and its collusion with Italian politicians. You will know how it really ended up with them. After the Walking tour you will stop in a nice elegant food venue. Loved going to the two little towns and hearing all about the Godfather origins and history. Denise, our tour guide was welcoming and full of GF knowledge. We also loved the lunch of homemade pasta and more.

Great tour! Our guide Giovanni was superb, he was very knowledgeable and had a real passion in his work. Lunch was great and the group we had was amazing. All shared some wonderful stories over a few glasses of wine and some tasty food. Highly recommend this tour!

Orazio was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable and took us to the expected sites in Savoca and Forza D’Agrò and the lunch was lovely in a traditional Sicilian eatery, definitely recommend

Denice was our guide and she was amazing. Her knowledge of the towns and entire area we explored was astonishing. This was so much more than I expected. The description of the tour does not do it justice....you get way more than you could ever imagine. My husband and I opted for the tour that included lunch and we were not disappointed at all. I have to say, this was the highlight of our trip to Sicily.

The guide was exceptional - the best we had while in Sicily. He was eager to share anything about Sicily and answer any and all our questions. There were just 4 of us on the tour, which was a nice small group. The tour is definitely more focused on The Godfather than general mafia stuff. Even if you’re not into the movies that much, it was a lot of fun walking around in the nearly abandoned villages. The food at the end was very good as well. Very happy with this choice of tours!

We’ve been in Italy for 2 weeks and Orazio was our favorite guide of all our excursions. Very friendly, enthusiastic, energetic, and knowledgeable. He seemed to know everyone and everyone seemed to know and like him too. Great tour.
