Had a great experience surfing for the first time with Gecko Surf School. The instructor, Marco, was patient in giving an introduction to safety measures and surfing technique. Felt safe in the water, as the instructor was close by at all times. He also gave tips for each trial, which improved my surfing attempts. Highly recommend for beginners!

It was a fantastic experience, Costa de Caparica was the setting for my first surf lesson and I was just so happy to have tried this experience with you.... with professionalism and friendliness the instructor made this experience even more magical.

Amazing instructors, the waves were perfect for my first time surfing, went at 10:30am during low tide. The instructors knew exactly how skilled we were and would gently push us to keep surfing larger waves that we were comfortable with. By the end of the 2 hour session, I was able to consistently ride waves from 20-40ft out, all the way into the shore! Absolutely amazing team, great for beginners and people who might be a little rusty, 10/10 will absolutely come here again!

I joined a group surf lesson with Gecko Surf School and had an amazing time! The staff were super friendly and helpful, our instructor had us all riding waves for the whole session. It was a very fun experience and I highly recommend Gecko Surf School to anyone interested in learning to surf!

Truly recommended, starting from scratch in two hours we learned the basics, the next day we rented the boards ourselves, very kind and flexible with the times 🤙

Great team of instructors, fun, welcoming and professional. Had great first lessons of surfing in a group for 30eur. Did catch some waves even not being super athletic. And be ready to taste the ocean 😂 lots of it!
Beach is quite crowded though, so visit in times that are not peak beachy hours 😉
