What a lovely tour of Kakadu. Tom is a great guide, he’s really knowledgeable about aboriginal culture and practices, learnt a lot from him.

Tour itself was good and guide was great. But disappointed that we were not aided that Cahill crossing was closed and we would not be able to visit it as that was our main reason for booking this particular tour

While booking via Viator doesn’t offer hotel pickup, other platforms do as we drove to quite a few hotels picking up other traveler.
The jumping crocodile activity was nice and I can recommend it. They provided lots of details around the seawater crocodiles in the freshwater river.
For the national park Kakadu, I can echo previous reviews. It is a very long bus drive for a nice stop with artwork and a view. From the 12 hours we spend 2/3 sitting in the bus as Ubirr is very far away from Darwin. I personally wouldn’t do it again (we also had ~40C which made the short walk a sweaty one), but everyone needs to decide what he/she deems ok.

Adam, our driver/guide is knowledgeable and very helpful. He’s patient with explanations and made the tour fascinating. I wish I had stayed for a couple of days. I wanted more when I was done.

This set of cave paintings is absolutely extraordinary and a must-see when coming to the region. There are apparently thousands of them but we only saw a good hundred which is already spectacular. Some of his paintings are said to be more than 20,000 years old and attest to the long presence of Aboriginal people on Australian territory.

A long day but certainly worth the trip. An excellent guide provided all the information on wildlife and rock art you could wish for. Loads of birdlife, crocs, etc. Plenty of breaks and despite the 37C heat we felt comfortable all day.
