• A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
• Large bags and rucksacks are also not allowed inside St Mark's Basilica.
• In case of high tides or religious ceremonies preventing access to the interior of the Basilica, an extended tour of the outside of the basilica will be given instead.
• The Doge’s Palace may also occasionally be closed to the public due to strikes, exceptional closures, state visits, or other special occasions. In that event, a possible alternative may be the Correr Museum in St. Mark’s Square with the Imperial Rooms and Venetian Collection. Entrance included in the Doge’s Palace ticket.
• Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough participants to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
• The number of admission tickets available for the interior of St. Mark's Basilica is limited and operates on a first-come first-served basis. In the event of no availability, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
• On certain dates, most travelers staying outside of Venice who are planning to visit for the day will be required to pay a €5 access fee. For further details (including exemptions) and to learn what days this fee is applicable, please visit: https://cda.ve.it

Antonio is fantastic! Born and raised in Venice, he knows this city like the back of his hand. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and full of fun facts. He even took the time to show us lingering few two more sites after the tour had ended. He’s proud of his city and wants to show it off. I’m so happy I was able to explore Venice with Antonio as my guide. Highly recommend the Venice Deluxe Tour!

Best experience possible.
Antonio provided an absolutely insightful, thorough and historic tour of the important sites of Venice. He also provided information on points of interest such as history of glass, gondoliers, fine dining, artisans and more. One of our group could not navigate stairs and Antonio knew where the staff elevator was and kept us on track. Beyond the tour, Daniela is a gift, aiding in hotels, taxis and more. Deluxe Venice Tours is much more than a tour- they complete your vacation

Very Informative and relaxed tour for two. No one else was signed up for the tour that day so we received the benefit of a personal guided tour. Antonio treated us like friends and spent four hours with us. When Antonio says skip to the front of the line he means it - we walked right in to the venues! I appreciate the time he spent us. He is a great person and informative guide!

A fantastic trip inside and see the Basilica in Venice, with Antonio Barbini as your guide. It was an experience out of the ordinary. Both the Basilica and not least with Antonio, who was both charming but also very knowledgeable in the area, so it was the most exciting church we have seen to date.

We also saw the Doge's Palace, unfortunately not with Antonio as a guide - we regretted that 😊.

We had an awesome tour with our guide Antonio. He is very knowledgeable about Venice history. We had a great time with him and our last minute add on family.
I also want to give a big thank you to Danielle for all the help setting up our travel from the mainland to Venice City. We highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Venice.

Antonio…. What an amazing tour. You my friend were a pleasure to be with. Incredible amount of knowledge from a true Venetian. Antonio’s passion and love of all things Venice was apparent throughout the entire trip. He isn’t one of the normal, monotone guides. He is vibrant and very personable. Even my teenage daughter was entertained while learning about history. Something I thought was never possible.

From the lace factory, to St. Marks, Spiral Staircase, Dodge’s Palace and the glass factory. This is an excellent tour hosted by an even better guide.

Our trip to Venice was amazing thanks to our guide Antonio. My husband and I spent an entertaining afternoon exploring the dramatic history of Venice’s rich cultural and architectural heritage. Antonio is Venetian and speaks 10 languages and his knowledge is vast. We visited St Marks Basilica and the Doge’s Palace and he brought these fantastic places alive with his enthusiasm and genuine love of them. My husband has difficulty walking very far and we feared that we would miss out due to the long queues but thanks to Antonio no queueing necessary. He helped us with restaurants, accessing a wonderful gondola trip and a visit to Murano glassworks.
We highly recommend Antonio as your guide and know you will never be disappointed.
