Discover the history of Mexico with visits to three top historical attractions: Teotihuacan, Tlatelolco, and the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Stroll through the ruins of Teotihuacan, the City of Gods, one of the most jaw-dropping experiences you can have in Mexico and see the power of the Aztec empire. Admire the Sun Pyramid that is the largest in Mesoamerica with more than 200-feet-tall. Along with a trip to the Pyramid of the Moon, you’ll learn from an expert local guide about the origins of this religious city.

Have free time to explore your favorite spots, and take amazing pictures.

Then you’ll visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, an 18th-century shrine, where you’ll see a cloak with the image of Guadalupe as you learn about her significance to the culture and people of modern Mexico.

The day also includes a visit to Tlatelolco. You’ll learn about their history, including human sacrifices, mass graves, and the so-called Lovers of Tlatelolco.

1. Zona Arqueologica Tlatelolco
After meeting your guide in Mexico City, you will drive to Tlatelolco, today the largest archaeological site in Mexico City. Here, you'll learn about this important site, which was part of the capital of the Aztec empire and where the biggest market of that empire stood. You will see Plaza of the Three Cultures where the Prehispanic, colonial and modern Mexico get together.
2. Basilica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe
You will head to the Shrine of Guadalupe (Basilica de Guadalupe). This is the most important religious building in all of Mexico and one of the most visited places in the Catholic world, annually receiving more than 20 million pilgrims.

Discover the secrets of the "obsidiana" and have a liquor tasting of Pulque, Tequila and Mezcal. Have also 60 minutes to have lunch on your own at the restaurant "Tlacaelel"
4. Zona Arqueologica Teotihuacan
You will continue your tour to Teotihuacan, “City of the Gods.” A professional guide will accompany you on a journey through the history of this mystical place. Walk around the ruins and be in awe, as many Mesoamerican ancient travelers must have been when they came from other cities of its time. See the famous Sun and Moon Pyramids and take in the incredible views from the top of these. The guided tour is 1 hour long, and you would also have 70 minutes to explore the site on your own. *Important: Teotihuacan has limited access due to Covid 19 restrictions (this might change on a day by day basis) Due to COVID restrictions, some areas of Teotihuacán may be closed.

I had a wonderful time on the tour with Christian and Letitia. The explanations at each site we visited were very interesting. The bus was comfortable and there was plenty of time to explore each site.

Highly recommend visiting the pyramids and the tequila tastings were an added bonus.

WOW! I loved this tour so much. Hector and Emmanuel did an amazing job leading this tour. It was well planned, and full of amazing information. The whole team was welcoming, funny, and kind. Thank you to Lalo for driving the bus with all of us in this busy city! One thing I will say, make sure to buy lots of water and maybe some snacks! It’s important to fuel your body for a long excursion. Thank you!!

The your guides were amazing. Alicia, the English guide had a great wealth or knowledge. I went in her group. My son, went with Alexa, the Spanish guide and said exactly the same. Air conditioner coach was amazing

This is an awesome tour. A must do when in Mexico City. Alice is an outstanding guide. Ask for her!
Th he pick up was smooth and on time. The bus was comfortable with good AC. The stops were all thoughtful. Great lunch and tequila stop as well.
