Enjoy some of Mexico City’s must-see spots with our ‘Colors of Mexico’ adventure.

Your day begins in Coyoacán, one of Mexico’s most influential cities. As you wander its tree-lined streets, you’ll learn how this city played a part in historical empires like the Aztec and Spanish.

Then visit la Casa Azul (if option selected), Frida Kahlo’s home and now museum. We’ll immerse ourselves in the trailblazing life of one of Mexico’s most original artists.

From the inspired art of Frida Kahlo, we’ll head to the eye-catching Xochimilco and board a trajinera - a colorful, gondola-like boat - for a ride through the neighborhood’s famous canals. As you indulge in local treats , your guide will share the incredible details of what makes this area a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Before finishing the tour, walk around North America's oldest university and admire its Central Campus, another World Heritage site.

Stunning murals, Frieda's house was amazing, and the boat tour with Mariachi was unforgettable. Many thanks to Leonardo for an exceptional tour in Spanish and to Eduardo, the bus driver for navigating city streets and freeways perfectly.

To me, this trip is not exactly as advertised and there is a lot if travelling time. That said, if you want to viait Frida's house, and have a day to spend, it is reasonably priced. The bad parts are: (1) start day at jewellery shop - would have preferred this time in Coyoacan or the university, (2) lunch is not great and overpriced, (3) not real a tour of university - really a photo stop for the library, (4) almost not time in Coyoacan if tour house and (5) Xochimilco is now mostly a tourist trap - don't really get sense of man-made farming islands.

Was hesitant about booking this trip, but I’m so so glad that I did, the tour in xochimilco lakes worth each penny, moreover I truly believe the trip is much worth it you mingle around in the streets that are beside Frida museum instead of going inside the museum itself.

This tour was very interesting and fun!! Our group was great and our tour guides, Andi and Mario were wonderful!! I was a little nervous based off other reviews but I’m glad I didn’t listen to them because it was a wonderful day! The only downside was the lunch (a bit overpriced) but other than that it was amazing!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good time. Make sure to dress comfortably.

Loved all the stops! We started with visiting silver craft shop which I had no interest in buying from but meeting the artist there was an amazing experience. Lunch was at an extremely overpriced restaurant and I ended up going to a small local restaurant a 10 min walk away.

********PLEASE BE ADVISED THE FRIDA KAHLO MUSEUM IS CLOSED ON MONDAY********* This is not advertised anywhere in the description. You will not know the Frida Kahlo museum is closed until it's time to go and you see on your downloaded pdf ticket that the museum is closed. Just as the other reviews said it's a tourist trap with a lot of unwarranted stops, those reviews were telling the truth. It's a very long day when it doesn't have to be. The tour guide Christian is great. His partner, Letia she was "ok". She walked extremely fast to the point where our group was extremely spread out and every one was trying to keep up. Letia was suppose to be the English speaker, but her English was somewhat hard to follow.

Andy and Mario were great guides. So knowledgeable, passionate and making sure we were all happy.
Our groupe was pretty big but it was well managed and did not feel like too many people. We had enough time to go and walk around on our own as well during this tour.

I had an incredible experience with Christian and Leticia as our tour guide. They were knowledgeable, engaging, and made every moment of the tour enjoyable. They provided fascinating insights into the history and culture of the places we visited and was always ready to answer questions with enthusiasm and depth. Their friendly demeanor and professionalism truly enhanced the experience. I highly recommend Amigo Tours to anyone looking for an unforgettable tour!

A long day but with most of the time spent in the coach (which was comfortable to be far)

First stop was a tourist trap shop which was completely the wrong direction from everything else. This meant we didn't get to first actual stop on tour for over 2.5 hours after we left. Not the best use of time..

The rest of the tour was OK and the guides were nice..

Did allow a quick hit of a few attractions but wouldn't recommend overall.
