The DMZ, which makes you feel the pain of division, is a variety of security tourist attractions.
Imjingak Pavilion, which was built in 1972, provides a panoramic view of the area.
You can see key areas of security tourism, including the Third Tunnel built for Invasion by North Korea, Dora Observatory where you can see North Korea, and Dorasan Station, a wish for unification.
Riding the Imjingak gondola, you can even see Camp Greaves, the filming location of the drama "Descendants of the Sun". This is the 506th Regiment where the main character of the American drama "Band of Brothers" and the main character of the World War II movie "Saving Private Ryan," were stationed in the country.

Well planned tour of the DMZ. All stops on the tour are teaming with tourists and there frankly there isn’t much to see except for “feeling the excitement of being so near North Korea.” Unfortunately, we happened to go on a foggy day that had a bit of drizzle - not much to see… the DMZ tunnel #3 was exciting.

Our guide Mr SP Hong was good and explained things well. Consider doing this tour only if you’ve done the other things in Seoul as it takes almost two-thirds of a day out of your travel itinerary.

What I was very glad to see is that a lot of the exhibits were in many languages, not only Korean, but English, Japanese and Chinese too. The letter that a young man had written to his mother before dying was heart breaking
