Passionate local guide. Wonderful experience. We were in group blue and she always had us in the shade and brought her stories to life. I wish the other guided tours were required to use head sets. Can otherwise get pretty loud!

Marisa led our English speaking tour. She was so knowledgeable and made it interactive with our group to learn the history. Yes it's steep but we made many stops to catch our breath and take in the many views. Going in the evening (17:30 start) avoids the cruise ship crowds. Highly recommend even if you aren't a super history buff

A really wonderful tour. It was clear that our tour guide was very passionate about her city and its rich history. I loved the stories that were woven throughout the tour about ancient Greece. We took the late in the day tour and the lighting was lovely for photos. Be prepared for it to be very busy, hot and no shade. We went in May and the temp was around 85 degrees. Be prepared for extreme heat in the summer. Walking was uphill and on unstable ground at times but there were many stops along the way to ease the tired legs.

Our tour guide was very passionate, friendly, and informative. We really enjoyed both sites. There were very few people there when we went, which helped make it an enjoyable experience. Therefore, I would recommend going early in the morning or not during peak times/season.

Amazing tour with Simon. We were delighted by his explanation and guidance. We will certainly recommend this tour, specially with our guide Simon. The tour was in English but Simon was able when needed to speak French and Spanish which help very much. We have been impressed by the quality of the tour

I would strongly advise going on a guided tour with prepaid entry tickets, we were able to skip queues and get straight in, our guide was great and you wouldn't get all that information and history on your own. Go early, our tour started before 9.00 and even then it was busy, it got hotter and very much busier as the morning went on. Wear trainers or good footwear, it is very rough and slippy. Views amazing, well worth the tour.

Constantine was our guide and provided so much information about Greece and the Acropolis! The pace was wonderful and the sites were incredible.

The tour guide was disgusting, he drawled all the time and didn't wipe his mouth so he let it go down his face. Our listening devices did not work and he did nothing to try to help us, he just said to listen better. He spoke so softly it is was difficult to hear anything he said. Then before we even got to the Parthenon, he lost most of us. He kept turning into other tours going past us and moving on with them. We could not butt into the other tours so we did not know where he went. Eventually, my wife and I turned on Google Maps to navigate us back to the tour office so that we could return the listening devices. The people in the tour office were very nice, the tour was ruined by the tour guide and the fact that he did not have spare listening devices for when ours stopped working.
