Miguel and Leo were great tour guides for this trip back in time to the days of the Knights Templar. Leo was new, so Miguel joined along to make sure the tour went without a hitch. However, Leo is very well versed in the history of this time and kept us enthralled. Both guys were amazing tour guides and were a perfect fit for our history focused interests. The castles were amazing to see and the cloisters were beautiful. That combined with the rich history that Leo and Miguel provided made the trip magical

Our tour guide,Andreia was just great.
It is the best tour we had.the Castles were breathe taking. the medieval restaurant was perfect matching with the tour. And we found the holy grail!😜

Our guide Ricardo was very knowledgeable about the history of the site. During the entire 1.5 drive there, he was telling us about the history of the site. He was very thorough and informative, which made the visit so much more interesting. He took enough time at each stop and really walked us through the entire house place, explaining each space.

If you have a chance to do this tour, do it! This takes y out into the country of Portugal and away from the crowds of Sinatra. It is a wonderful scenic and historical tour, made all the better if Ricardo takes it as your guide. His knowledge and passion for the areas and places that you visit is wonderful. It makes a great tour even better. The convent in Tomar us spectacular. In many travels I haven’t seen anything like it. I really recommend this highly, especially if you would like to do something a little different. Without Ricci”s knowledge I really would not have understood how important the Knight Templar’s and their followers were to the history of Portugal and modern day Portugal.

Daniel was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and great with kids. Recommended a great restaurant for lunch and had us on schedule. Would definitely do this tour again.
