Drift Fishing Trip off the Coast of Fort Lauderdale

We had such a great time on the morning fishing trip that we went again for the afternoon trip. The crew was great. Mike made sure my boyfriend and I had a great time as it was his first time fishing in the ocean. We would highly recommend Fishing Headquarters to our friends and family.

We had a great crew with Captain Dave & 1st Mate Adam, The trip was very memorable. The 7AM water was calm and the fish were biting before we were even out of the inlet. Within 2 hours we had our limit Kingfish and some others. They ranged in size... Captain Dave & Adam suggested we go a bit deep in water and use some bait we caught earlier. maybe another hour went by enjoying the boat ride, being on the water and the reel took off.... 45- 50 minutes later after an intense fight we got finally got it to the boat. It was a 7foot 200 pound shark... it was protected and we released it. what an experience it was!!!
The funny thing was that 1st Mate Adam asked me whats on my bucket list before we left the dock. I said to catch a shark..... lol

had a good time even tho i didnt catch anything.. but ended up getting gifted from someone one the boat....Ace and Jess were great mates very informational and great trainers thank you and see you soon

Fun day! Great crew! Bring your sunscreen and refreshments. Fish off the back of the boat. They also did a great job fileting our catch.

Jack was very attentive and made our experience the best it could be. We caught plenty of fish and from a wide variety. Had the fish cooked at a local restaurant. Perfect day!

I’m not prone to getting seasick but this was on a whole other level. It was very windy and choppy - might as well have thrown us in the ocean the way the water was crashing onto the boat. Then banged up being thrown into the metal ladder.
Went inside to find more than half of us were vomiting instead of fishing. We begged for the captain to turn around early it was so bad which he did. I know they can’t control the weather and I didn’t expect a refund but at least offer a voucher BEFORE the trip because we should not have been out there in those conditions. My husband was one of the few that was able to catch anything but too small to keep. It’s an upgrade to a smaller group/bigger fish. Also, very crowded so if you’d like a seat arrive early.

The view from the balcony was very nice.
The apartment was nice and comfortable.
The Publix grocery store was close by and many other things to go do.

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the knowledge and support provided by our mates was wonderful. Thank you for making our Dad have a memorable experience as this was something he wanted to do and had never seen the ocean. Thank you all so very much for this memory with my sister and Dad.

It was awesome! I took my dad fishing for the first time in years for his 82nd birthday. He was so happy! I would recommend the trip to anyone who loves to fish, thank you for a great time for me and my dad!
