Meet your guide in Versailles at the foot of the Equestrian Statue of the Sun King, Louis the 14th. After been welcome by your guide you will be taken on a guided inside visit of the Royal Apartments. You will walk through the palace and learn its history, including the fact that it was home to three of France’s most illustrious Kings for over 100 years.
Following your interior visit of the Palace and after having said bye to your guide, you will have the opportunity spend some free time in the gardens, a 2,000-acre (809-hectare) park filled with fountains, statues, and classic formal garden landscaping
You will even get the chance to see the Musical Gardens show if visiting Versailles on a Tuesday or a Friday or the Musical Fountains Show if taking the tour on a Saturday or a Sunday. (BUT Remember! Tickets to the Gardens are not included in the tour. You must expect to pay to get access to the Musical Gardens Show or Musical Fountains Show)

Horrible. Not the palace but the tour guide. Met at designated time. Waiting waiting. Walked to entrance so slowly I had to keep stopping. I didn’t think it was possible to move that slow. Finally, 37 minutes after meeting time we wait again. Finally two people came late - Again 37 Minutes late. The tour operator kept 15 people waiting for two others. I can see 10 minutes but not this long. We entered just after 40 minutes. Ugh ! There were headphones passed out. Could not hear except she asked a group of adults who wants to play King. No volunteers. After close to an hour after meeting time we left after the second room and took our own tour. This was the worst tour I have ever seen. Not to shame Viator the ap and communication was great on their part.

Well organized tour with lots of support compared to a tour we took to the Louvre. Easy to find the company and saw some guests arrive late but had no issues being led to our group. Due to other groups arriving late to their time window, ours was pushed back so entrance in ended up being about 45 minutes later, but the guide was able to pivot and share other aspects of the Versailles to begin with

Haw, our tour guide, is very polite, friendly and funny. She is very knowledgeable of the history of the Versailles Palace and directs the group to the more important places.

Very long entrance queue due to strikes etc but were able to access palace without too much delay due to guides organisation. Tour guide herself was excellent!

I had visited Versailles about 10 years ago on a backpacking trip through Europe. This time, I have been planning to visit Versailles again, now with my mom, who was visiting France for the first time. Julie was our tour guide and she brought enthusiasm, knowledge, and storytelling prowess to the tour. Thanks to her colourful descriptions and explanations, for the first time I felt a connection to the history of the site and a sense of the kings and queens who had lived there as real people, with motivations and life circumstances I could understand, so much so that I was later able to translate for my mom in her native language the information Julie had shared with us. The tour enriched our experience--thank you Julie!

Sammya our guide was just fantastic and so interesting. Could not reserve directly on Versaille site, thanks to Viator to enable that visit with my 2 daughters
