The first stop on our Picasso tour is outside the Els Quatre Gats Restaurant, a Modernist building that was a tavern when Picasso lived in Barcelona. It was also a gathering spot for artists, the very first place he exhibited his genius.
We'll continue to the Sala Parès, an art gallery. Picasso and other Barcelonian artists once exhibited their paintings here. We may even step inside to see how it’s changed over the years!
Our next stop is at Carrer d'Avinyó 44, where Picasso frequented the brothel once located there. The women who worked there inspired his famous piece, Les Demoiselles d'Avinyó, now one of the finest examples of his Cubists works.
As the walking tour comes to a close, we’ll pass by La Llotja, a historical building that once hosted the Fine Arts Academy where Picasso studied as a teenager.
It’s now time to finish your Picasso walking tour at the entrance of Picasso Museum. Your guide will tell you what to look for during your self-guided visit to the museum.

Daria was knowledgeable about Picasso and his life. Her English was very good. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend her to others.

Very knowledgeable guide who told many stories and took us around the streets up to the museum. We bought a painting from a historic art gallery that was a stop on the tour.

The trip was generally nice. It started with a ~1-hour walk during which the guide (Andres) showed us places relevant to Picasso's life and professional activity. The walk ended at the museum, where the guide gave us our tickets, provided some useful information about visiting the museum, and said goodbye. I liked the overall concept of this tour, the walk, and the museum, but I think the guide could have been better prepared. He didn't seem to know history (especially art history) very well and focused mainly on sharing interesting facts about Picasso's life. Additionally, if we had been equipped with headphones, we could have continued listening to his story while walking

Interesting tour led by a very knowledgeable guide. We especially enjoyed the freedom to go through the Museum at our own pace after the guided walking tour portion.

Our guide, Andres, was fantastic! Upbeat, friendly, and helpful for any questions. He made sure to take some time with each party in the tour during the walking. The tour itself was very informative and fun, with a more intimate feel than some of the other tours l've been on.
Entry to the museum is a bonus. :)

Perfect length and information for someone who didn't have much knowledge of Picasso prior. Some background before visiting the museum makes that experience better.
