Enjoy a 5 hour return guided tour over the spectacular Remutaka Ranges to the Wairarapa region, home of world class culinary producers.
Enjoy a stop at C'est Cheese factory and cafe where the tour will include a tasting platter of locally made cheeses. Continue up State Highway 2 to Greytown for a tasting of some of chocolatier Murray Langham's amazing chocolate range at Schoc Chocolates. Our third stop is in the world class wine region of Martinborough famous for it's pinot noir. Enjoy a tasting flight at one of the finest local wineries.
The final stop is at the Martinborough Memorial Square in the centre of town and allows for guests to tailor the tour for their own tastes. Guests may choose one final tasting stop from Olivo extra virgin and infused olive oils, Martinborough craft brewery paddles, a local vineyard or cafe lunch, The Martinborough Sweet Shop or the Wine Bank. This final stop is seasonal, subject to availability and at the guests expense.

We had an enjoyable day on our 1/2 day foodie trip, our tour guide Michael was a real asset to our day out, knowledgeable, entertaining and we had many laughs along with him, we enjoyed the cheese, chocolate and Winery visits, would highly recommend this tour.

Was long beautiful drive through mountains, however the wine tasting was not good, had to pay for your own food. The chocolate tasting was at separate location and was some odd horrible chocolate flavors. Last the cheese tasting was also at separate third site with no wine.
Driver didn’t stop for pics of scenery, and only talked to the passenger in front seat.

An excellent tour to do on a rainy day! The cheese tasting was excellent. Wine and lunch very good, but we'd always like more wine! Chocolate tasting unique. Our driver very knowledgeable and friendly. Recommended for a tour that's not too long.
If it is a full tour, the van may be a little cosy, but we had only 8 on our trip which meant we had space and comfort.

The wine tasting had little description done in a place you had to purchase lunch. The chocolate tasting was standing up in a tiny shop squeezed in with the whole group. Overall not what I would call a foodie tour having been on them before. The driver gave no information

What a fantastic day! Our guide Simon was very knowledgeable and engaging. The drive to the winery was spectacular and lunch at Moy Hall was first class. The chocolate tasting was unique and it was hard to decide what to choose. Finishing off with a cheese tasting ended an excellent tour.

This half day tour was perfect. Our guide Phil was witty and knowledgeable and made the day. We stopped at the Remutaka summit lookout, tasted a variety of unusual chocolate options, enjoyed wine tastings and a delicious lunch and finally some wonderful cheeses. The drive, scenery and stops were just as expected. Would definitely recommend this tour company!!

An awful lot of driving and very little tasting. Has to buy our own lunch and had not choice where to go. Not worth it.

We enjoyed the tour very much. The driver Phil was very informative and spoke very loudly & clearly even though he did not have any amplified speaker. The chocolate blind tasting and the cheese sampling were very enjoyable. Even though we don’t drink white wine we enjoyed the tasting and the gnocchi was delicious! Our only complaint was that the bus was very small and since we got stuck on the back row my legs were aching for the hour plus to/from our destination. The driver kept the air on us but with the winding mountain roads car sickness could be an issue for some.

Wonderful trip. Lunch at Moy Hall was delightful. Cheese shop was so quaint and yummy. Ending the day at the chocolate shop was perfect.
