I booked this tour with a month of anticipation for the spanish option (which has a higher price) They contact us one day before our tour and changed everything, they said there was no group available and we will be taking the English tour. That was not an option because my friend doesn’t speak English. We asked for other options and they told us we would be having an spanish written guide for both. We asked for a reimbursement of the difference in the price (which is double) and they only gave us an audio guide of the city (which is not even half of what was pending)
We didn’t get the spanish books so I translated everything to my friend (which was not my responsability and why we payed for a Spanish tour)
At the end they stopped answering whats app

awful. Booked via booking.com and the tour of the camp itself, and the tour guide who worked at Auschwitz were interesting and very informative, with the guide leading us being extremely kind and helpful. This tour however, was not- it gave no contact details, no meeting point and no meeting time, simply saying it would “leave when we were all ready”, and proceeded to leave while we were in the bathroom. We are two girls travelling alone, with all of our possessions (as requested by the tour guide) left on the bus. Luckily, the friendly people at the parking office helped us recover these and get home, but without them we would have been stranded over an hour away from krakow. the coach eventually returned after a few calls from this office. would NOT recommend.

We booked the tour scheduled for 13:00 on Sunday the 10th of September. At 16:00 on the Saturday I recieved a whatsap message to say the tour had been cancelled. And they was willing to move the tour to Monday. As we was flying home early Monday morning that was not an option.
I then looked around for another tour operator to book the trip, however because it wad such short notice there was none available.
To cap it off we had to make our way back to their office
to arrange a refund as was told they couldn't do it over the phone. 90 minutes of the day waisted and the cost of a taxi.
Was told money could take 5 working days to appear in our bank. It has just appeared. We paid £77 and was refunded £74.
All in all the money or time wasn't an issue. It was the fact that our short city break holiday was ruined because we was unable to visit an attraction that was the main reason for our visit to Krakow in the 1st place.
Such a dodgy company with a couldn't care less attitude, avoid at all costs.

Cost-effective and easy way to get to the memorial. Auschwitz itself is terrible and heartbreaking. It was horrible to see what went on there. Important to visit during your time in Poland.

The guide was excellent, use of headphones very helpful. Guide's knowledge was incredible and very informative. However when we arrived, after over an hour on a bus, on a very hot day in July, we were told the guide needed a break and we had to wait an hour before tour started. Also there were 22 in our group, far too large a group, and the tour felt rushed. Wasn't enough time to read plaques etc as we were rushed onto next item in order to keep up with the group. No time for gift shop either. Weren't informed of time to be back at bus which wasn't helpful. Organiser (male) quite abrupt. Although I am glad I paid my respects by visiting Auchwitz unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this particular tour.

Absolutely awful experience with Krakowbooking.com let alone booking.com who's website it was booked through.
Was allocated the 7am pick up, waited at agreed location with 4 other tour goers. No bus arrived at 7am, so we gave the benefit of the doubt and waited until 7:15. Still nothing. We began trying to call Krakowbooking.com who's phone line either rang out or was picked up and put down on us.
By 8am there was still no show and we heard another 7am group had the same issue, seems to be common place....
We scrapped the waiting any longer due to rain and cold weather.
We did manage to do Aushwitz however and if you fall victim to this scam then please do the same as you MUST EXPERIENCE IT! tickets into auschwitz with a guide can be bought on the Auschwitz website for around £15 per person. You can then get an uber for the 70 minute journey which was very good for around £50 each way. When your desperate the cost is no object.
While waiting for our Uber my partner made a call to booking.com for assistance in getting our money back. Helpfully they said it is not thier problem and there is nothing they can do. GREAT!
On the return taxi ride, Krkowbooking.com finally made contact with us via email. They said our tour had been moved to 6am from 7am and that they emailed us. They have 2 emails and 1 phone number for us and nothing was received. Funnily enough ,proof was requested to which a ropey text was screenshotted and showed a text to a WRONG NUMBER. so Krakowbooking.com are therefore bang to rights and should return our cash as thier communication broke down NOT OURS! But no! They are adamant it is our fault!
Avoid these clowns like the plague, we are seeking legal help to retrieve this cash and also instructing our bank to do the same.

This is an absolutely sad and heart wrenching experience. The tour was done in a very thoughtful manner, but the overwhelming horror of the whole place changes a person. You actually see everything from the hair and belonging of these individuals to their living (if you can call it that) quarters to their death extermination places
This was a terrible time in history and can never happen again, ever.

Even I first booked the English tour, finally I took the one in Spanish. Kasha and Kamil had great knowledge of the place and spoke perfect Spanish, they both kindly answered all the questions and recommended me books in the bookshop and places to explore in krakow. I really recommend them for learning about one of the saddest places in the world
