Max is a native English speaker. Having a cemetery tour with him was a great educational event in a format of casual conversation. He is extremely knowledgeable about history and his narrative is made in a light and humorous way. I will certainly come back to Paris for another excursion with Max.

This was a really great tour. Max is a really knowledgeable and charismatic guide, I really enjoyed listening to the stories of the past.
I was a bit confused about the time the tour begins, Viator clarified to me that the tour is every two hours and you can request the time that works for you.

I really enjoyed Max’s tour. It was a great walk and we saw a good mix of famous memorials along with lesser known but intriguing and unusual monuments. I highly recommend this tour, it was a memorable and thought-provoking experience. Max is a very knowledgeable guide and I learned many facts about Paris and the cemetery’s inhabitants.

We signed up for a tour of Père Lachaise Cemetery in the summer with little time to spare and, as it happens in the pouring rain – Max managed to make it a real trip to remember. He is a great story teller – delivering an impressive amount of information in an interesting, concise, humorous and compassionate way. He was able to tailor the tour to our interests, as we could not possibly have done the whole of Père Lachaise Cemetery, but also introduced us to people and histories we were not aware of. So, altogether a lovely outing – highly recommended!

This was the 1st guided tour of a cemetery that I have been on. It was such an interesting experience. My guide Max, is incredibly knowledgeable and fun to listen to. He absolutely made this a most memorable, enjoyable visit to Peres Lachaise. If you’re considering a tour, don’t hesitate to choose Max’s tour. It was fantastic!
