1. Ile de la Cite
Enjoy strolling through the streets of this charming island with your guide, hear the fascinating stories of it's long history, see one of the prettiest squares in Paris, and end your tour on the oldest bridge in the city.
2. Conciergerie
Our last visit is to the Conciergerie, built as a medieval palace but most famous as the prison and last home of Queen Marie Antoinette during the French Revolution. See the cells where the prisoners were kept, including the cramped cell of Marie Antoinette, where she was imprisoned until she was taken to the guillotine in 1793.
3. Sainte-Chapelle
Then it’s a short stroll through the charming flower market to the Sainte Chapelle, home to some of best-preserved and most breathtaking stained glass in the world. Built in the 13th century by the King Saint Louis, 80% of the walls are covered by remarkable colored glass windows. Once again you will skip the long entry lines, and your guide will teach you how to read the stories on these centuries old masterpieces, as you admire the astonishing multi-colored light flooding the chapel.
4. Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris
You will then see the imposing gothic structure of Notre Dame Cathedral. Built in the 13th century, this magnificent edifice has recently survived a devastating fire, yet she is still standing proudly as the symbol of the city. Learn of her incredible construction, the mastery of her medieval architects and builders, and watch history unfold before us as she readies herself to stand tall for another eight centuries. We will see the exterior of the cathedral, you can admire the imposing sculpted facade and bell towers, the flying buttresses still holding the structure of the cathedral together today, and learn of her glorious past, including tales of the famous Hunchback.

The tour itself was great! Matthew the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and attentive!
The issues were with the earphone system. It cut out on many occasions.
The computers were down so we had to wait at both entrances to get in.
There was a bag check and metal detector at Saint Chapelle. It was required of a 2 year old. That family opted not to go in. This information should be shared ahead of time. What a shame they missed Saint Chapelle!!!!!

First, the starting point of the tour was easy to find. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did have problems with the our "quiet box" systems, which they said has been giving them problems as more security equipment was going in around the area in preparation for the Olympics. Unfortunately, this meant our guide had to just talk to us, which sometime made hearing the information difficult when we were in larger crowds.

Also, while Notre Dame was not open at this time and all we were able to do was look at the pictures surrounding it and look at it from the outside, it would have been nice to have a little bit more time at the site to reflect on the architecture of the building and take some additional pictures.

The tour of the Conciergerie and Sainte Chapelle were well done. The guide provided us a lot of information and was able to easily walk us through both building's history and key features.

All in all, a good tour for the length of time and price.

Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. She had a mixed group of young and old and adapted the tour to everyone. Extra time was allowed to observe on our own as well. Great tour!

We would not have known where to go or what we were seeing without Cecilly (sic?). She was a delight and made this a rich experience. The history of the island came alive through her eyes. We both thoroughly enjoyed our tour. It was well worth the money.

Caroline was exceptional! Really appreciated her warm teacher like demeanor and attention to detail. Your was paced well, ended with the stunning Saint Chapelle and felt like I learned a ton in between

We really enjoyed our tour with Veronique. She had a wealth of knowledge and was easy to hear and understand. Sainte Chapelle was stunning - very beautiful. I loved also hearing all the history that came along with this tour. Well done. One thing I would have liked though is a bit of time to look at the gift shops at these places.

We booked Notre Dame tour as one of our week in Paris for visiting the main plaices for art and culture. The tour was interesting, the guide knowledgeable but the ears phone connection was interrupted occasionally.

Notre Dame is still closed, so you can't go in, which was disappointing. Sainte Chappelle was stunning and made the trip worthwhile. Hard to believe it was built in the 1200's. Our guide, Chloe, was fun and informative.
