Your guide Brian "Paco" Álvarez is not your ordinary tour guide. He is a Las Vegas native, Cultural Anthropologist and former City of Las Vegas Arts Commissioner. He is frequently on TV, radio and international news as the go to guy for everything cultural in Vegas.
Highlights of the tour will include the world renowned Arts Factory with dozens of artist studios and galleries. A special VIP visit with working artists. The "Radial Symmetry" sculpture by Luis Varela-Rico, "Paint Brushes" sculpture by Dennis Oppenheim, "Snow Ball" sculpture by Jesse Carson Smigel. Brian Paco was a wealth of information! He clearly has a real love for the Arts District and has a great deal of personal knowledge of the history and happenings. He was very accommodating of our interests as well as our comfort. Great tour, definitely worthwhile!
