This was the most amazing tour. We got to see all the highlights in Sintra customized for my disability and our interest. We had snacks, shopping, a wonderful lunch, and they even ensured I had pictures of the sights I couldn’t manage to hike to. I would highly recommend this new business if you need a little extra care and attention in order to see all you can see on a tight timeline. I highly recommend this company

Great tour guides. Brothers were in sync and very proud of sharing Sintra with tourists. We were not interested in too many walking steps nor standing in lines. We had an amazing, private (just two of us) full day trip to Sintra and the coast. Your hosts (brothers Martim and Mitos who live in and know everything about Sintra) allow you to customize your tour to your liking and take special care of you. For example, you can't drive into Sintra so one takes the van to a meet-up location and the other walks with you thru the city stopping at any places you want for a coffee, to shop, to take pictures, etc. Our trip included stops at Pena Palace, Qintra da Regaleira, an amazing lunch at Nortada (they provide several options, but I highly recommend this place for the food, wine and views being rich along the ocean), Cabo da Roca and Azenhas do Mar. Book now, you won't regret it!!!

We had a great experience with VanMode since the moment I requested information for my booking. I was concerned with the size of my group (8 girls). Their responses were quick and detailed. I was even provided with links to buy tickets for the intended attractions activities we were visiting. The VanMode team that accompanied us were kind and attentive and made great suggestions for lunch. We had lunch at Tabuas Honest Food and we all loved our hearty meals. We had a fabulous day even with the gloomy day ! 100% recommend specially if traveling with a large group !

Mitos and Martin exceeded all expectations for our full day tour of Sintra. Pick up and drop off at the port was seamless. They were incredibly flexible in modifying the schedule to meet our requirements. The van was comfortable, the driving exceptional, and the attention to detail in getting us to and into the palaces we saw was above and beyond. The trip to Cabo da Roca was the icing on the cake at the end of a great day! The lunch at a local Portuguese restaurant was delicious and the pastries were to die for. Highly recommended!

Wow, had a blast with Van Mode Tours in Sintra! Our guides Martim and Mitos were like rockstars, super fun and knowledgeable. The places were stunning and even though it was a bit cold, the sun played along. Lunch was legit at a cozy portuguese restaurant. think we had a bit too many pastries :) Saw all the cool spots like regaleira and pena palace. Now, just a heads up, maybe our timing was a bit off at Pena, but honestly, it didn’t bug me much. Overall, a top notch day. Thanks Martim and Mitos :)

The best experience I have ever had on a tour! The beautiful place!! They are two local brothers who know every corner and always guided us to the best places to visit and have lunch. I would love to go back and would definitely do the same tour or any other but I would definitely do it with them again! Super recommended,

I have done a bunch of private tours worldwide and I can tell you this was certainly the best!
The guys who own vanmode (two very polite, considering and super funny brothers) have such a passion for what they do that they make sure this trip will be an unforgettable experience!(In contrast with the most private trips in Lisbon area who just have strict schedules and drop you from spot to spot without further value)
You can choose your pick up spots, they are very flexible with time and schedule and they know the region SO WELL. They recommended us the best spots to try local delicacies, even the best spots to take the photos!
The vibe feels so fun and the highlight of the day was definitely the picnic they organized on the top of the ocean in a breathtaking scenery with delicious Portuguese food!
(Only they offer this lunch experience so look no further!)
If you are in Lisbon (or around) it definitely worths it to spend a day with vanmode exploring the gorgeous sceneries of Portugal!
