Great day out, tour guide Adil was good fun keeping us supplied with water, KitKats and facts about where we were headed. We saw some amazing sites and I would definitely recommend getting out of the city and into the more unique parts of Qatar.

I had a beautiful experience discovering the landscape and heritage of Qatar through this tour. The booking process was smooth and my guide Abdul Nassir is a very nice, knowledgeable, patient person. He will explain all the history of Qatar during this pleasant roadtrip.
You can also ask him all the questions you want.
You will discover the North of Qatar including the mangrove, the beautiful Zubarra Fort and the beautiful Al Khor city.
And in the West side, the Zekreet village, the Richard Serra desert and the breathtaking rock formations.
I really recommend this tour if you want to see another side of Qatar (and not only the developed part of Doha).

Just wrapped up a delightful full-day tour visiting the north and west part of the country. Stops included wonderful photo opportunities at a mangrove forest, Al Jumail, various archaeological sites, funky rock formations, Al Zubarah Fort, public art installations, and a camel race training track, as well as a delicious lunch at a Pakistani restaurant (with an array of vegan options).
The day was made all the more memorable thanks to my friendly, attentive, and irrepressible guides, Adil and Abdullah. Both gentlemen treated me with great care and shared a depth of knowledge about what I was seeing. Their car was clean and comfortable. Both freely shared their perspectives to my questions about Qatari life and injected a lot humor and fun into the day, too, making it an excursion experience I will always treasure.

We started off by travelling to the Purple Island on a Landcruiser with a local guide called Sohaib. He was very informative answering all my questions ranging from his salary, Qatar army, falcon hunting. However his air conditioner became faulty after reaching Purple Island.
Instantly he called his partner Adil for help. By good coordination, Adil reached Fort Zubara in time when we entered the Fort.
Aidil was witty and funny. At Zekreet, he made us do all the unusual postures so that the photos he took became instagrammable. He also took the extra effort to drive us along the camel tracks.
We had more than we asked for. Too bad we couldn’t visit Fort Zekreet as it was under renovation
Zohaib called us personally by apologising what happened to his air conditioner. That was nice of him

Book it! I have done 100s of tour all over the world and this was one of my favorites!! My tour guide was Noor Raja and he treated me like a friend instead of a tourist. He made sure I was comfortable throughout the day. He went out of his way to find camels for me to see and pet as he could tell how much I loved them during our visit to the camel track. He also played photographer all day which is incredible as a solo travel as I always just wind up with a ton of selfies or landscapes. I will book more tours with this company and driver because of Noor!

Very interesting northern and western desert tour. Anwar was a trained guide, he explained to us what we had around us and also the local traditions. He was also excellent company during the journey, speaking excellent English. He also took so many wonderful photos of us!

Great trip with Adil.
He was very involved in making sure I had a good experience. He was particularly attentive to my needs since I just had my knees replaced.
Adil adjusted the tour since they just had an unseasonable massive rain which limited access to some areas.

Zohaib was a wonderful, unassuming guide who answered just about every question we had and we had a lot. The tour was wonderful to see other parts of Qatar, all as planned and some extras and it was interesting to drive past the World Cup stadiums and see the infrastructure for that. Zohaib was a wonderful host showing us his country more than a tour. He obviously loves the west of Qatar
