An imposing building set on an artificial island off Doha's Corniche. The museum is dedicated to reflecting the full vitality, complexity and diversity of the arts of the Islamic world. It is a world-class collecting institution, which preserves, studies and exhibits masterpieces spanning 3 continents and 13 centuries. The building itself was designed by world renowned architect I. M. Pei, designer of the Louvre Pyramid in Paris.
2. Souq Waqif
A stroll down the bustling alleys of Souq Waqif provides an authentic taste of traditional commerce, architecture and culture. We did the tour with Adil. First impression was that he was very enthusiastic and accommodating. My parents can’t walk long distances , so he happily adjusted the schedule to allow for more time at scenic spots. We got to see all the key spots, got tons of pictures. Personally, I really like Katara, & Corniche. We did not go in the museums but they both looked amazing.
Thanks again to Adil for making this a memorable tour.

We had a great day with Adil! He patiently answered our questions and guided us through the city. We like his style. If you stay at hotel only, you only see the modern buildings. However, if you take the tour, you will truely experience the middle east culture.

Went with the driver Adil. Stop neatly everywhere, tell everything about the history of Qatar, if you have special requests he will take you there. Takes the drive, wants a little bit of everything, including a nice cup of tea with the local residents. Recommended.

Adil was a fantastic guide. He accommodated a last minute booking, and took my wife and I all around Doha. Even though it was late, he kept us entertained with facts about the city, its people, and its goings on.

Anwar is the best private driver in Doha. We only had 4 hours to see Doha, he showed us all the highlights, speaks fluent English. That is very nice. He told us a lot about Doha and the culture of Doha. The car is great and the air conditioning is really nice, at a temperature of 44 degrees Celsius. Book this driver when you are in Doha.
