Irene was wonderful! She took us to 4 high end chocolatiers, one macaron store, and one hot chocolate shop, with multiple tastings! She talked about the history of chocolate and the individual chocolatiers (so much we didn't know about how high end chocolate is so recent). She's also written a book about chocolate (in French only). We bought some chocolates along the way - then went back and picked up some more after all our tastings! Well worth it!

Learned about chocolate and the best makers of chocolate in France. Enjoyed the variety of chocolates including those with surprise ingredients. Perfect length tour.

The Pure Chocolate Tour with Irène was amazing. We did not know the chocolate industry in France is equally respected internationally as the wine industry. We learned the history of chocolate in France and Paris, the innovations that have occurred, and the up and coming names of a new generation of chocolatiers. We sampled a wide variety of chocolates - from dark chocolates and milk chocolates, in raspberry flavor and curry flavor and many more. We learned the difference between a ganache and a praline. And the tour ended with hot chocolate at Angelina, across from the Jardins des Tuileries.
Thank you, Irène! We would do this tour again!

Thank you, Irene, for such a fantastic experience! We cannot recommend this chocolate tour highly enough! My husband and son are both obsessed with chocolate and both were wowed by the quality (and quantity!) or chocolate that we tasted and my husband really enjoyed talking to Irene about chocolate and desserts in general. She is so knowledgeable! We’ve already recommended her tour to friends and will continue to do so!

Irene gives a superb tour of a highly selective group of Parisien chocolate shops. She knows her stuff! The chocolate we tasted was truly unique and of excellent quality. She is a lovely warm person who we enjoyed spending the afternoon with. There is plenty of chocolate to try and opportunities to purchase whenever you'd like but we did not feel obligated or pressured to ever. Hot chocolate at the end was to die for. Thank you!

It was a lovely day. Small group and delicious treats :)
Our guide was very friendly and the walk was divine.
Definitely bring water or sparkling water to cleanse your palette between tastes.
