Since I stayed at an airport hotel, the vendor sent a separate car for me at 545 for the 0600 tour. I was at the east gate of the park by 610. However, the main van didn't arrive until almost 645. It was VERY frustrating getting up extra early to just watch dozens of other vans start the drive.
It's best to buy your national park admission online in advance. Don't pay extra for the car. I had to specify that I was entering the East gate. It cost $44 for a foreigner.
The park is beautiful, but surreal, with the urban background. We saw many rhinos, giraffes, antelope of various sorts, zebras, and baboons. No lions this time around.
Note that you're only in the park for about 2 hrs before you go to a "bead shop" then a gift shop for coffee.
No water nor snacks are provided on the van.

What an amazing experience! Francis is a BRILLIANT host and guide. He made us feel so welcome, and made sure that we got to see - and photograph - as many animals as possible. He seemed to be just about as delighted to see the animals as we were. I cannot recommend him enough!

I did a half day (afternoon) safari in Nairobi national park. The organisation was smooth and the company were responsive and very helpful when I called in advance to ask a question. Francis, the guide, was brilliant. He was really friendly and told us about all the animals. He was in touch with other drivers and was able to respond to tip offs so we saw a lot of different animals including rhino, lion, and buffalo. I was picked up and dropped off at the hotel and had a stop for souvenirs after the safari too. Brilliant afternoon - well worth it. Would definitely recommend. Thank you so much Francis!

This safari tour was amazing!! We had our own private tour guide, and we were the only people in our jeep! It was just what we were looking for. We would do a longer tour next time to be able to see more wildlife. Overall, it was a great tour.

Tour guide spent an extra hour just so we could see the lions. Alas not our day. Girafs, hippo, zebra deers all in their natural habitat.

Great trip. Many people visit as they don’t see Rino’s in other parks.
Car has sockets so you can charge your phone.
Toilet in the park but not clean and no tissue so best to avoid.
You are sent a link to pay for your park entrance before you arrive. This is meant to speed up entering the park. You will need to upload a picture of your passport for this.
Driver takes you to a bead factory after safari.

Lawrence was our tour guide and he made sure we all had a great safari! Throughout the tour Lawrence made sure our van was the first on the scene for every animal viewing, including lions, rhinos, giraffes, buffalo and more! We were picked up and dropped off on time.
