So much fun! We went to see whales, and we did! But we didn't anticipate how much fun the ride would be! Flying over the waves - everyone laughing and enjoying the experience. Topped off with watching some humpbacks -seals -an Eagle - Sea Lions and the views. Spending the day on the water in the sun with such incredible views was something we won't soon forget. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful day, knowledgeable guides and and saw lots of wildlife, humpbacks, eagles, seals, sealions and more. No orcas on this occasion but this is one of many trips with this company and we've seen them every other time. The boat ride was fun too and hit some fun swell, it's like an amazing tour of Vancouver harbour, Howe Sound, whale watching and jet boat in one!

We had a fantastic trip out whale watching and were amazed to see a pod of orcas and some humpbacks! Our children loved it too. We chose a semi-covered vessel given the ages of the little ones and that worked really well with plenty of space still to stand on the viewing deck and the side windows were lifted fully opened when we were watching the whales too. Our guide and the captain were great and knew exactly where to go and gave us lots of knowledge about the whales and the plight of these beautiful creatures. Hilary the guide was clearly so passionate about protecting the whales and other marine life and that really came across. Communication with the team throughout the booking process through to the trip itself was fantastic. Thanks for the memories!

One of the real highlights of our family vacation touring Canada. We took the smaller zodiac on a friends advice- much more comfortable than looks! The team quickly found a pod of 3 Humpbacks who took a real interest in us; so much we couldn’t start engines for an hour. Still time to go up Howe Sound and see eagles, seals etc. luck of great weather and good navigation plus expert guidance. Would do this trip again without a doubt.

We saw 12 whales, three came close to the boat and one as close as we could ever be to a whale. We saw a sea lion and lots of 🦭. The boat captain did his best to give us our monies worth. The naturist on board was kind an informative. The staff at location, very kind and helpful. We had issues with the cab finding the location and the staff help us get there while on the phone. In general it was overall a great experience. 👍

Great tour, well organised and super lucky day.
Tour guide and captain were amazing, super knowledgeable and respectful to wildlife. 15 people on the tour, so more intimate and more space to move around smaller boat. We were super lucky with the weather and the experience with the whales. An apparently very rare experience with the whales ‘mugging’ our boat for about 90 minutes, with the whales literal feet away from our boat, and floating underneath. Amazing experience, wouldn’t expect to recieve the same experience again, or expect to see a whale fully ‘breach’ the water any time soon. But a great day out seeing all of the islands vancouver has to offer on a lovely sunny day.
Bring your own food, but granville island has an abundance of breakfast and lunch options!

Whale watching has been on my bucket list for many years, so as soon as I booked my Vancouver trip I started doing some serious whale watching research. I reached out to the Wild Whales Vancouver team over facebook and they answered all my questions in a timely manner.
I booked a zodiac tour as I wanted to be in a smaller group - to date this was one of the best days of my life, 5 hours on the Salish Sea searching for whales, learning about the wildlife and then spotting some humpback whales.
I enjoyed it so much I booked another trip, and this was also fantastic. The seats on the zodiac boat have shock absorbers so it really is quite a comfortable ride.
They are very respectful of the whales, they make sure they keep a safe distance and they contribute to whale conservation.
Don't think twice about it - definitely book a trip with them! Special shout out to Saz, Craig and Darko - thank you so much for making my dreams come true! I only wish I went out a third time!

What an informative, communal and overall marvellous trip! Our guide was evidently experienced and prioritised our safety and enjoyment, leaving us with plenty of time to take photos of the wildlife and get to know each other. The layout of the boat made for a thrilling fast ride and for a full immersion into the wild Vancouver seascapes. On my trip, I encountered a humpback whale, many seals, sea lions, starfish, jellyfish, cormorants and a bald eagle. The tour was very respectful towards the wildlife and preserved their personal space - the guide emphasised that the welfare of the wildlife is paramount and gave us an insight into the interesting studies that were conducted to better understand their needs.

I give a tremendous thank you to the Wild Whales team for making this rare experience possible. It was very much worth it!
