The Hiroshima and Miyajima tour was perfect from the on-time excursions to the friendly tour guides to the comfortable bus rides. Tour employees met us at the Shin Osaka Shinkansen station and assisted us to Hiroshima where our tour guide, Tomoko, met us and took us to our bus. Visited the museum, had lunch, then visited Miyajima Island. It was such an enjoyable tour and definitely recommended to anyone visiting Japan.

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour with Azusa! It was a longer day but we found it to be one of the more relaxing ones out of all our tours in Japan. Very comfortable travel on both the Shinkansen and bus and enough time at all locations to not feel rushed; you could determine more how much you wanted to walk/rest too.
Visiting the Hiroshima sites was very touching and important to learn about. Great info at museum and at the memorials. Myajima was one of my favorite places we visited in Japan. The mountains made for such a beautiful backdrop on the ferry and as you strolled through the streets shopping/eating, on the way to the temples and shrines - all amongst wild deer, lovely greenery, and even a beach! We also loved the okonomiyaki lunch.

It was super interesting seeing this horrible part of history from where it happened. The imagines are a reminder of the impact of useless wars because of the effect on innocent people.

Tour guide, Azuha (sorry if wrong spelling) is a really great tour guide. She is full of information without being annoying, she makes sure everyone understands her and she is a very pleasant person to be with in this tour.

We learned so much from our guide Myuki. She was friendly, helpful, and professional. This tour makes it easy to travel from Osaka to Hiroshima with help at the gates and everything facilitated. Hiroshima is a profound experience and beautiful city. We really loved Myajima and would love to go back and spend a couple of nights there.

Asuza was a funny and informative tour guide. The tour brought to life the harsh realities of USA’s bombing of Hiroshima and the impacts of atomic bombs that were used both in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
After a short stop for lunch we headed to Miyajima island which was beautiful. I wish we could have spent a little more time here, but the tour was fantastic overall.

To begin with I was a little worried at first where we had to meet tour company at the train station and because of how big and busy it is. But the HIS tour company was very organized and we were able to find them quickly. they walked with us and placed us where we needed to go at the train stop.
Afterwards we met up with our tour guide, Kumiko, who was awesome and very knowledgeable. She was so very friendly as well as her assistants. It was a large group and they had to hire an extra bus but it was all very well organized even with the occasional wanderers.
The tour itself was very nice we really enjoyed the itinerary. Hiroshima was a somber reminder of what the effects of war and weapons of mass destruction can do, the number of deaths, especially those of the children that died. The city also shows the resilience of the Japanese citizens and how the city was rebuilt while at the same time leaving reminders of what casualties war can leave behind. They try to also remind us of the need for peace and how we need to get rid of these weapons that are much stronger than what they had to experience.
I just wish the peace museum was a little more controlled and that they allow certain amount of people in at a time. It is hard to really experience the full effect of the museum when you can't really see the exhibits or have time to read them. It was a packed room and the exhibits were overwhelmed. Fortunately at the exit of the museum there was a mini exhibit with some experiences as well which do hit you in the heart. I can't imagine what it would have been like in the main area.
The Hiroshima version of Okonomiyaki that they took us to for Lunch was incredible. we loved the whole concept of them being cooked right before us and placed on the grill to keep warm as we eat them, Oishii!
Miyajima was so beautiful and very wonderful resort Island which we will be coming to when we visit Japan again. They had great snacks and the environment was lively.
All in all an excellent tour experience and kudos Kumicko for a wonderful experience!!

Very good the guides are amazing and very helpful it can feel a lil rushed but mostly that’s because some people on our tour were always late so it cut the time at places but over all it was fantastic
