If you like Vikings and are looking for a unique way to see Ireland, this is the perfect tour! Our guide Bren was wonderful! He was knowledgeable and friendly. To see a Viking walking up to greet you in the streets of Dublin was incredible.

Amazing is the word to start with, when you see a viking waiting for you to take you down on the historical walk of Dubh Linn Castle n Trail. We were just in an awe of the experience. Totally worth it. Choose the experience to explore nice/fun facts.

We were in a group of 6, which meant the guide could talk as he walked as well as when we stopped. He was full of information about the Vikings and the local culture from before then, but also wove in more recent periods from the Normans through the Elizabethans to the 1920s independence events. Very interesting and we got more than our money's worth.

Brendan made Irish Viking history come alive! Not just because he was in the most amazing Viking dress, but because of his knowledge of the Vikings in Ireland. His presentation style made it easy to listen to and he gave many recommendations further visits to further my knowledge of Irish Viking heritage. Brendan also provided information on other aspects of Irish history. Overall, a great day and a money well spent tour! I would recommend the Viking Trails Legacy Experience to anyone.

This was such a fun and informative way to see Dublin. Bran the Viking was very knowledgeable! He was funny, friendly and looked like a true Viking. This was an amazing tour. Our Viking guide was so knowledgeable about the history of the Viking / Irish conflicts and really brought history to life. We were a family group of 12 people (ages 12-70) and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. He really engaged and connected with everyone (even the teens! which isn’t always easy when it comes to history). This tour is a must-do in Dublin. It is definitely the highlight of our trip.

An amazing experience! Our Viking guide (Bren) provided an insightful history of the Vikings in Ireland while interjecting great tips and insight about the city. He was an engaging, passionate professional who truly took pride in his work. Best of the four other walking/bike tours we took while visiting. Must do tour! Valhalla!

Bren brought the history to life. He has the knowledge and the passion and it made the tour. If you have any interest, I heartily recommend taking this tour. He is also accommodating for people with mobility issues. Great tour.
