With the help of a diplomaed pastry chef, you will discover all the secrets of the famous French croissants and pains au chocolat.
During our time together you will be the chef! You will make the dough from scratch, do the lamination, watch the rising of the croissants and bake them.
In the intimacy of a traditional haussmannian Parisian apartment, you will become a real croissant connoisseur.
You will taste delicious pastries and leave with all of your wonderful creations and instructions to repeat the recipe at home.
You will also receive advice on your Parisian trip: what to do, where to shop and eat and more importantly, where to enjoy good pastries.

The whole experience from beginning to end was memorable. I have a new found admiration and respect for whoever makes croissants and pains au chocolat from scratch! Joannie was not only a perfect hostess, making us feel very welcome, but gave us so much useful information about what and what not to do. We were shown every step involved in the making process. The little surprise prepared for us was a welcome treat and thoroughly enjoyed! Having received the recipes that Joannie emailed to us, which are beautifully and clearly set out, I can't wait to have a go at making them myself for my family.

This was by far the best part of Paris for me and my sister! Learning from a Parisian pastry chef was incredible and so fun. Relaxing and welcoming environment. Would absolutely recommend for your trip!

Joannie provided such a great, personalized experience. Only 7 of us in the class at the same time, we learned all the steps of making croissants and pains au chocolat, most of which were hands on. At the end we had multiple pieces to take home along with enough to sample during class. Total time was a little over 2.5 hours. There is a (very cute) cat, in case you are allergic. Location was very convenient to the metro. Would definitely recommend as both a fun and learning experience.

My kids and I have not tried making croissants yet. Getting the little hints was so useful! We had a great time and got to bring back plenty of samplers!

This was so much fun! It was totally interesting, professionell but also cosy. We had the best time baking croissants and pain au chocolat and would totally recommend! You also get a big bag of everything you baked with you.

We enjoyed Joannie’s croissant and pain au chocolat class very much! She’s so knowledgeable and patient with all levels of chefs. It was nice to do the class in her quaint home and it added to the atmosphere. A memorable part of our family trip!
