Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about Vancouver! We learned so much and visited out of the way places we would never find on our own. He was also flexible and took us to a place we asked to go. This was truly an exceptional experience and recommend it highly.

We took this tour in May 2023. The guide called and said he was going to be late because he was picking up another party at the cruise terminal and they were going to be late.

Once we were picked up, he told us the other party had still not gotten off the ship and we were going to pick them up next. We waited in the cruise terminal for another 45 minutes before they arrived.

Once we got going, it was fairly interesting, but in my opinion too long. Maybe that was due to a very slow start.

We at lunch as a group in Granville island market at a restaurant the guide suggested. It was ok. The New England clam chowder was nothing like you’d get in New England.

We went to an ice cream shop that had the “largest selection in the world”. We stopped at Stanley Park and saw the totems, drove through the park and saw various points there and also drove through the city. We went inside the Old Spaghetti Factory restaurant that has a unique streetcar inside.

I think a 5 star rating is generous. The guide was ok. Not outstanding. I’ve had much more engaging guides than this one. Additionally, I think it was unacceptable to have us wait so long for the rest of our tour group to arrive. I understand he is trying to make a living, but if I were that late for a tour, I would expect the tour to leave without me.

Michael is a fantastic guide to introduce all the wonders of Vancouver. Absolutely a great and thoroughly informative tour. So many special details shared to better understand this vibrant city. We enjoyed the details concerning the fauna found in Stanley Park. In a word, brilliant.

An outstanding tour of Vancouver with Mike, a driver with incredible knowledge of the history of the city and its residents. He also was full of information about the forest and landscape. The tour included all of the highlights of the city and a guided tour of many quaint stores and locations.

Michael of Lawrence Tours was very knowledgeable of the city. He was very personable and shared some family jokes with us. We were delighted that he took us to a restaurant for lunch that we probably wouldn’t have known existed. Ending our 5-hour tour at an ice cream shop with over 200 flavors. The day couldn’t have been more perfect, sunshine, warm temps and a beautiful trip around Vancouver.

On a scale of 1-5, this excursion was a 15!! Michael took us to most of Vancouver’s sights plus a few “locals only” places. We got out many times to walk the areas while he kept up an amazingly knowledgeable talk. He answered many political & social questions with superior insight. Just a fantastic day with a great insight into this city & country!

Mike was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable & lots of information to impart. It would have been good to have had some more (brief) photo stops along the way but we did get to stop at Stanley Park, Fisherman's Wharf for lunch, ice cream shop for dessert & the steam clock in Gastown. It was an enjoyable 5+ hours in a very comfy vehicle. Thanks Mike.

We were picked up at our hotel right on time. We were seated in a Mercedes passenger van that was comfortable and clean. Mike, the owner and tour guide, greeted us warmly and took us with two other couples on a full day tour of Vancouver. We got a full six hours of all the highlights of Vancouver on a personal style. The tour was informative and intimate; with every question answered in full. We learned about the history of Vancouver; from its settlers and founders to current residents and businesses. We traveled to Stanley Park to tour the park and learn about totem poles to vegetation and trees. We were offered a rest stop along the way. We also stopped at Granville Island, Olympic Village, Shaunessy neighborhood with explanations and history of all points. We got to choose a lunch spot not included in tour pricing, but very delicious. We learned about nature, history, architecture, food , customs. Also a visit to Chinatown and Gastown. We had extra and ample time to witness the steam clock and grab a souvenir. On Granville, we got to enter the public market and see Vancouvers highlight. Mike the operator and owner told jokes , but was delightful and professional. We totally recommend this tour to anyone that wants to experience Vancouver for the first time or revisit Vancouver in a different light. Thanks Mike for your knowledge ,courtesy , and respect. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and glad we went on this tour
