We had a great tour together with our tour guide. We had managed that only the 3 of us (+ tourguide) went into the mountains. Two of our group rode by ourselves and I sat on the back of the tour guide. I didn't feel unsafe for a moment! Our first stay (homestay) was very clean and was located in a nice spot among other homestays. All groups gather here to eat and party/karaoke (until 10:00 pm) after that everyone has to be quiet, perfect because you can use your night's rest well after such an intense day. The second night we stayed in a hostel, this hostel was oke te sleep in but nothing flash, in the city itself was there was not that much to do, but we recommend finding a spa and warming up! :) there is plenty of them around, the bars were just a bit quiet.

It was amazing, I skipped the loop when I was the first time in vietnam. Everyone told me to travel back up and do it. Now I finally did. Don't be spooked by the weather. Even with a bit of rain it remained a lifetime experience! Make sure you bring enough warm clothes and the plastic rain jackets will be supplied. The people at the hostel are extremely friendly and caring, they speak good English to the level where you can have a good conversation. The tour guide was friendly and funny. The hostel you arrive is clean has good, clean showers. And a they have a massive food menu in bar/restaurant. After the fist day of driving we stopped at a beautiful clean homestay sang karaoke had good food and we drank some happy water. At 10 pm the karaoke will be turned off all over town so that was the perfect balance to be in good shape for the next day. We had another beautiful day of driving and arrived in another small town with nice bars. The hostel we stayed in was pretty basic but good enough to have good rest. We went to a spa to have a warm sauna/bath. Make sure you go to one with good reviews, but there is plenty of options. The third day we drove back to the hostel, had some drinks and a lot of food. And we were allowed to stay a night for free to rest up for the bus back to hanoi. Overall it was an amazing unforgettable experience.

We booked the tour for 3 days and 2 nights. Our Tourguide was very nice and friendly. His driving style was very pleasant and easy to follow. Despite the rather difficult weather conditions, we arrived back at the hostel safe and sound after 3 days. The tour was very well planned out. We took frequent breaks to buy some drinks, food and to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. We spent the 1st night in a homestay, the 2nd at a local hostel. The evenings we spent walking around the city and doing karaoke. Although some of us had problems with our international driving licences, the tour guide cleared this up with the police so that we could continue our journey without any problems.
All in all, a successful trip.

Loved this tour!! Drivers were very fun and felt very safe the whole time. The hostel is clean and welcoming and Tony is the best! Would reccomend to anyone, don’t skip this tour;)
