Singapore is famous for its hawker food and there are more than 113 hawker centres here in this tiny dot! Tourist often are confused by the prices, the food types and only stick to the central ones. Great hawker food can be found all around the island, and let me bring you to Chomp Chomp, a hawker centre visited by locals for street seafood.

I traversed the bus system for an hour to arrive and wait for this tour to happen. After waiting an additional 45 minutes and contacting the tour operator ( no response ) I explored the Chomp Chomp on my own. This place has delicious and savory delights. For about $20 US I got a Satay sampling with rice ( wanted to lick the sauce bowl was so delicious). I also got some fresh squeezed cane juice with lemon lime and they put these dried plums in that were salty / sweet deliciousness. So after the tour guide being a no show was able to salvage the trip and really enjoyed my experience at Chomp Chomp.
