The most encompassing full day tour in Ushuaia. This is a full day journey into the almost uninhabited, peaceful lands of the first "estancia" in Tierra del Fuego: Harberton Ranch. Among many wild and pristine places, we will visit the penguin rookery at Martillo island. The plan for the day is quite active: we will go hiking, navigating, and rowing in inflatable canoes on the Beagle Channel! Gable Island is one of the wildest and most beautiful places in Tierra del Fuego.

We traveled to Ushuaia for the 4th time to do this tour, for me at almost 87 years old, it was now or now. The experience and value it had for me and my wife, Rosa, exceeded what was expected. The kindness and service given by Santiago and Aldana from our first contact by phone from Buenos Aires 2 months before and once in Ushuaia, was unbeatable. During the Tour we received the same quality of service and kindness from Olmo, the main guide, Pablo, the secondary guide who was my guide (because of my age) during the 8K walk on Gable Island, Pato, the driver and chef. the excursion and, Mauri, the canoe manager. Had a phenomenal experience with Canal Tours in the Gable Island and Beagle Channel trekking and canoe excursion. Santiago was a perfect guide. Very friendly and informative and organized. Sol was a great driver. Mauro and Olmo were also wonderful guides with the canoe. I highly recommend this experience and these guides!

I loved everything about this tour. The guides were fun, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The activities were the right pace for us and the kids. The small group size was just right. Their food was great! Gable Island is stunningly beautiful. The penguins were really fun to watch. It was a perfect day and the highlight of our trip to Ushuaia.

This was a terrific trip from start to finish. Pickup was timely, the guides were friendly, informative and helpful and lunch was excellent (and enormous!) The paddling was not too demanding and we were fortunate to have decent weather and to see a great deal of wildlife.
Truly a first rate outfit.

It was a great tour. Tamara provided fantastic commentary, views and lunch were beautiful, while canoeing and trekking not strenuous. Together with amazing fellow travellers it was an extremely memorable trip. Highly recommend!

We booked this tour with my wife. It was a great experience. The guides were very informative and knowledgable. The organization was really good and the guides managed to establish a great connection amongst all of us in the group making it feel like we were all one. The visit to the penguins is really as long as it should be. You do not need more time nor to walk among them in order to enjoy them. Some of the places we visited were really astonishing in terms of natural beauty. Highly recommended!!
