The day was very well organized, and Manu kept me well informed leading up to the day. It was stress free and so much fun! Highly recommend for anyone who is interested in having a local experience of Mexican football and great tacos included!

Awesome experience for our family (2 adults, 2 teens)! Tacos at the tailgate were delicious and the game was a ton of fun. Manu and Ivan were awesome hosts - they picked us up at our Airbnb and made sure every aspect of our experience was perfect, always checking on us to see if we needed more food, drinks, anything. They even set up an outdoor bathroom for the ladies to use at the tailgate, much appreciated! We loved having the “inside scoop” about the rivalry between the 2 teams we saw (Pumas vs Cruz Azul), it made the game much more exciting. Manu gave everyone in our group jerseys to wear (and keep!) so we looked like local fans. The crowd and fan were a little “rowdy” but we felt completely safe being with our group, as Manu and Ivan were very careful about keeping everyone together, and separated from the craziness of the most enthusiastic fans. We had great seats and loved every minute of the game. Highly recommend this experience - really made the soccer game so much more memorable for our family!

Gabby and Diego were great. We had a small group at the Azteca and from the tacos al pastore at a small local restaurant to the beers in the parking lot to the match itself. It was a great night!

I had a great time attending the Club America game at the Estadio Azteca. The atmosphere of the stadium was electric. Manu was a great guide. Everything was well organized and smooth

I was picked up by Gaby at the agreed time and location. Being that Pumas play at noon, we didn't go to El Tizoncito as listed on the website. We headed straight to one of the stadium parking lots and enjoyed delicious food and beverage there before the game. Our group had plenty of time to look at the souvenir vendors. Gaby even helped us dealing with purchases.
Our tickets were in the upper bowl next to La Banda del Pebetero. Everyone standing and singing the entire match, how attending a match should be. Gaby's friends came over and helped us learn the words to songs and let us try some snacks that they brought. Pumas beat Atlas 3-0 (Gaby correctly predicting the score). After the game, we continued to hang out in the parking lot until the campus police told us to go away. I was dropped off at the door to my AirBNB with a new kit, sunburn, and a smile on my face. Thank you to Matchday group for the enjoyable first day in Mexico City.

I had an absolutely amazing time on this experience. Manuel was so helpful and accommodating, and everything went as advertised (except somehow better). Transportation was easy. The food at the taqueria was incredible. It was certainly not somewhere I would have found on my own. When we arrived at the stadium to tailgate, there was plenty of beer, water, and soda to go around, and it was a lot of fun getting to know the other people in the group. We even got soccer jerseys to wear for the game and to take home! The game itself was amazing. The seats were amazing, the atmosphere was electric, and the fans were passionate. I would highly recommend this Viator experience to anyone visiting Mexico City. It's a great way to experience the city's vibrant culture and passion for soccer with a Mexico City local without having to worry about any logistics. If you’re on the fence about booking this, just do it! You won’t regret it.
