This tour is very interesting and exciting. It takes you along a scenic portion of the river. Your Raft Captain does not only pilot the raft but he is a performer in his own rights. He displays and teaches the latest reggae dance moves. He is very knowledgeable about the many trees and shrubs along the river banks. He explains their local medicinal, domestic and industrial usages. There are several small restaurants that prepare tasty dishes mainly seafood inspired in close proximity. The local Fisher folks provide fresh catch to the restaurants and passersby. The clarity of the river is generally very good so you get to see different types of fishes and elusive indigenous birds along the banks. This tour gives you a chance to relax, unwind and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature while getting a feel of the " Island Life". You can also get a soothing limestone massage if you desire. There is also a stop to have a " Taste of Jamaican Fruits".

Nothing short of amazing. Devon exceeded our expectations. I booked this excursion to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and they made it very special. The raft experience was amazing shoutout to Flowers. The food stop was amazing as well. We truly enjoyed it all. Wlso Thank you so much Devon! We will see you again when we come back.

Devon from Island Drive Tours was amazing. He took care of my family as we were his own. He set us up with a great bamboo boat driver, Flowers. Limestone massage was amazing.
After the bamboo boat ride, he took us to a fruit stand to experience the amazing local fruits from the island. This is a must do in Jamaica with a great tour guide.

beautiful and affordable tour, a highlight of our trip. the staff was kind, helpful, and informative (they only massage your feet on this excursion btw). there are things to eat nearby and awesome souvenirs at the beach where the raft takes you. 10/10

We had the youngest guide Craig. He did a great job despite the constant picking from his co-workers. I felt he was being picked on because he had the older white lady pushed off on him. We were told to go with one guide, but that guide pushed us off on Craig. All the other guides had black, younger women in bathing suits and he was stuck with me. There is a foot massage and an optional leg rub down that all the others did the FULL leg. I didn’t embarrass Craig to massage my full legs. The excursion was lovely, and Craig was super nice, and my husband and I really enjoyed ourselves, but the constant teasing of our guide made me feel very uncomfortable and like they were laughing about me. A little reverse discrimination.

My fiancé and I had an incredible time rafting down the Rio Nuevo river for my birthday. From start to finish, our driver Devon went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience.
As soon as we met Devon, his warm personality and enthusiasm set the tone for the adventure we were about to embark on. Devon was extremely knowledgeable about the history and ecology of the region, sharing interesting facts about the parish throughout our journey.
Devon made sure we got a taste of Jamaican culture too. We stopped at a local stand to try fresh pineapple. The fruit was so flavorful and ripened to perfection in the tropical climate.
By the end of our tour, my fiancé and I felt like old friends with Devon. His charismatic nature and passion for his job was contagious. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday - exploring Jamaica with an experienced, personable guide made it a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend Devon as your driver for all your activities in Jamaica!

This tour guide and driver is the very best that Jamaica has to offer. Devon Walker is courteous, always on time, the best driver on the island, always felt safe with him. We went everywhere and had such a good time. He took us to Port Royal, Devon House ( I Scream ) for ice cream and Pelican Reef bar in the caribbean sea, you have to check this out. He would stop and make us experience the various fruits, and we also checked out Boston for our supply of jerk pork and chicken. Devon is a must when you visit the island. Give him a call you'll never regret it. We were delighted and happy we did.
