Humberto was a wonderful captain and guide! We had one of the best days of our lives on this half day tour. We enjoyed time feeding the stingrays at 2 locations, snorkeled at a reef and held starfish (under the water so as not to hurt them). My daughter was so excited for the stingrays, but I was a bit nervous. Humberto was encouraging and also understanding so I didn't feel pressured to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. My husband enjoyed stingray city and he learned a lot about the sea creatures from Humberto. Doing the private tour was worth the extra cost as we could move at our own pace and really rekax. We highly recommend this tour!

I’ve been coming to Grand Cayman for 27 years…he is by far the best operator.
We had 6 people and had plenty of room with a super relaxed atmosphere…wherever you want to go he will take you…

What a fantastic day with our family! Humberto was an excellent Captain - extremely nice, knowledgable and patient! He is like the Stingray Whisperer and gently allows you to get more and more comfortable with these incredible creatures. While snorkling he stayed on the boat just to keep his eyes on our group. Starfish beach was also amazing. He made sure we were not rushed and got to experience everything. Humberto shared interesting stories with us and is just a great person and guide. 5 stars is not enough!

Humberto was a great captain and created a memorable experience for our family. We enjoyed the tour so much that we signed up for another tour with Humberto that was completely customized. He was fun and friendly and great with the stingrays and other sea life.

This was our favorite experience we’ve ever had on vacation! Humberto and Marcela were wonderful! It was a personalized trip away from the crowds yet we still got to see the hot spots and swim with sting rays and starfish. Highly recommend! We’ll be back!

Humberto really catered the experience to our family. He was knowledgeable and pleasant. The kids were so comfortable with him. He took us to spots that were not busy and safe for the kids avoiding areas with big waves. We were 2 families with kids ranging from 6 to 9. We could not have asked for a more personalized experience.

We had a wonderful first visit/ experience on Grand Cayman. Humberto (Captain ) and Marcella my contact made sure we were prepared and given up to date details on our trip. The weather was windy at Stingray Bay , waves on the sandbar were feisty, and hitting about face n shoulder level, so we were not able to interact with the stingrays, however if I was a good swimmer and in good physical shape, I would have jumped in. We are the older more sedentary group of 4 The larger boats anchored there had a few passengers out with the Stingrays, but the sea was churning too much to get any good pics. Huberto customized our outing and took us to the places we wanted to see. He provided local beer and soft drinks for us to enjoy the ride. The boat is well maintained, and the ride is smooth. We docked at Rum Point and had a relaxing time, and a delicious lunch, we thoroughly enjoyed Humberto's company, he shared interesting stories, events, and Island life with us
Near Rum Point, is Lola's place, she's a friendly stingray that loves hugs and is friendly to humans. Humberto stopped twice (on the way to and from Rum Point) to check if Lola was around, we did see several stingrays from the deck of the boat. Unfortunately Lola was being shy. Still, we were able to see the stingrays up close and in clear calm water. We visited Starfish Point and was able to hold a variety of starfishes, several actually moved and clung to our hands.
Tips: I strongly suggest taking Humberto up on his offer to hail a taxi or call a ride for your return. We relied on a pre-arranged taxi that never showed up, fortunately a different taxi saw us and called one on our behalf. Allow 35 -45 minutes to return back to Georgetown Port . We made it back in time to catch the tender to our ship. ARRIVING : Coming from the Cruise Terminal in George Town, go immediately to the Taxi Dispatcher located right out side where you exit onto the sidewalk, and ask him to hail a private taxi There's a sign that reads" Taxi Dispatcher" dont let the taxis parking up and down the street distract you . It was $7 USD per person, and we ended up in a group taxi which made a stop to pick up more passengers and another stop at 7 mile beach.
Applies to out of shape, heavier folks like me... Wear water shoes, this will aid you in climbing the ladder back onto the boat , the ladder is inverted in so you got a little more gravity against you.
Over all , I highly, and strongly recommend this Stingray experience..Next Year we are booking Humberto again.

We were cruise passengers, stopping in Grand Caymen from 8am to 315pm. Booking with Humberto was smooth and communication was good. Marcella who was my contact gave me detailed instructions on where to meet the boat and how to take a taxi to the yacht club about 20- 30 minutes away. When you get off the tender at the port make sure you approach the taxi dispatcher for specific direction to secure your taxi. It was $28 for 4 of us We made the mistake of getting into a multi passenger taxi so had to do stops. I also want to stress make sure you take advantage of Humberto’s offer of calling a taxi or ride on your behalf. We ended up waiting for a pre arranged taxi that never arrived. Fortunately another taxi picking up cruise passengers called one for us. Now to the experience - We met Humberto at 930 and headed out to sea The boat is clean and in excellent condition. Stingray bay was too rough for us to interact with the stingrays but was able to anchor at starfish point, it was calm and the water was crystal clear. You can hold the starfish, keeping it under water and a few of them responded by using their suction cups, adhering themselves to your hand. It was so cool. We made a quick stop looking for Lola the friendly Stingray near Rum Point but unfortunately didn’t see her. We docked at Rum point and had a delicious lunch. Learned about island life from Humberto, and interesting stories of current events and prominent citizens. On the way back we stopped once more looking for Lola but she was being shy that day. However we saw about a dozen stingrays swimming up to our boat. It’s like they know you are there visiting. We did one more pass by stingray bay but seriously the waves or swells were too strong for us. If you are a decent swimmer and don’t mind the waves splashing you , the stop would have been amazing. We, being older and not in such great physical condition felt it would be too difficult getting in and out of boat while navigating the waves. We plan on booking the trip again when we return next year. Humberto had local beer and soft drinks for us and is a wonderful and safe captain. I highly recommend booking. The highlight is : it’s private and Humberto will customize your tour. For swimmers and snorkeling this would be the golden ticket ! You’re not waiting to Que up in lines or being one in a huge group.
