We showed up, got geared up, and found ourselves waiting. We didn't know, but Macao off-road gathers all parties together for a time slot into one very large group and you travel as a single convoy...for the most part. Buggies will fail, break down, or even snap an axle.
Anyway, we finally get into a buggy and we're off! Until we stop 10 minutes in to get gathered into a sales pitch for coffee, beer, and whatever else. Every stop was a mini tourist trap if you will. I've been on two other ATV tours (one of which was also in Punta Cana). The beach stop is actually a 5 minute walk away and full of vendors trying to sell you stuff. In contrast, to the other one I've been on in PC, we rode right up to a completely secluded and breathtaking beach.
I know not to expect perfect working buggies. But the mention of a snapped axle happened in our group. Our own died twice, and the backup buggy we got had no brakes. There are numerous times you would be driving and have to go around broken down buggies. The crew is cool, and they are just trying to keep things going/running. It's no reflection of them, more of how the place is set up to run. I made the best of the situation, but I wouldn't recommend this to others.

The experience was absolutely amazing! JB made sure we had an incredible time and truly enjoyed ourselves. We had so much fun, and every penny spent was worth it! Highly recommended!

The rain turned our adventure into a thrilling mudding experience! Despite the excitement, the kids on the road begging were a concern and quite dangerous. JB, you are the best‼️

They picked us up on time and we were able to enjoy seeing the city in a comfortable safari truck. When we arrived at the ranch they gave us a machine and well. the rest is a lot of fun
