Appreciate art like a collector with a visit to the Borghese Gallery and Gardens. Carefully controlled entry means that unlike the nearby Vatican Museums, this collection of masterpieces is never crowded. The gallery includes pieces by Raphael and Bernini, and the tour includes the Borghese Gardens: a peaceful oasis amid the chaos of the capital.

Fabio was FABULOUS! Fabio was our guide and he did an incredible job of bringing the art work and sculptures in the Borghese alive with background info and interesting and fun stories! His energy was contagious and truly made our experience top notch! Highly recommend this tour with Fabio!

Excellent guide who loved the art we saw. He included a little walk through the gardens. Sad that the second floor was under renovation.

We had a very nice tour of the gallery with Guido providing excellent commentary and historical references. We were a bit disappointed that half the gallery was closed for renovations, but our entrance ticket allowed us to also visit the Barberini Gallery where most of the art had been transferred to (10 to 15 minute walk). What were still able to see in the Borghese Gallery was stunning. We would highly reccomend this visit and our tour guide, Guido.

Don’t miss this. The artwork and grounds are beautiful and our tour guide’s passion for the historical context and meaning brought it to life. Great tour.

This tour was great! We wanted to visit the Borghese Gallery but the site's tickets were sold out and decided to book this guided tour- it was worth it! Our guide was very well informed about the artworks and we did some close looking at many Bernini and Caravaggio works (and others)- we learned a lot more than we would have if we were just there by ourselves; the context provided was fantastic. One critique- the tour description says that the tour will continue into the gardens and end at the Piazza del Popolo- it didn't. We just ended outside the Gallery, which was totally fine, but the instructions should perhaps be updated.
(Note for those looking for summer 2024- the 2nd floor is closed for renovation (which we knew) but some works have been moved to the Palazzo Barberini, which you can get into with your ticket from the Borghese- nothing to do with the quality of the guided tour but wanted to flag)

Sal was our tour guide and he was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the museum and the artists.
Sal pointed out details that I would have missed had I have gone alone.
The headset was great and made it easy to listen to Sal while looking at all the different pieces in the room.

Wonder experience! Highly recommend! We had an amazing time as this was our first time in Rome. The museum is great but the garden is worth a whole to explore. Lots to do and see

Amazing! Our guide, Alex, made this one of our most enjoyable tours in Rome. She was so polite, fun, and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend using a guided tour. The Borghese is less crowded than other museums, which was refreshing. Also the location was one of our favorites. After the tour we rented hikes and spent the afternoon exploring Villa Borghese.

The explanations. History.
Tour was much too expensive. Timed entry was about $18. Expected a lot more for $75.
Ending point was listed incorrectly.
