Danny was a great presenter and did a wonderful job explaining everything about Bacardí. He answered all our questions and the whole group seemed to enjoy the experience. The rum tasting was a unique experience with the different types. We would have liked to see more of the rum-making process or watched a video to show us how rum is made.

We attended on a weekday so our experience may be different if you went on a weekend. We traveled from the cruise port by taxi using the taxi service in the dock area. It was $64 round trip plus we tipped. Trip was very quick and driver was great. You could take the ferry however we didn't want to be late. Ferry is to the left across the bridge only 2 min walk. When we arrived we were given a token to turn in for our complimentary drink. Other drink are available but at a cost. Our tour director was very friendly, was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained along the way. We learned so much! The tasting portion was great! Several different types (who knew!) and each were very different. Amazed at how it's stored and what the aging process is. I'll never look and a rum drink the same! Highly recommend!

I have to say that the best part of this experience was the welcome drink and hanging in the outdoor bar area, where there is plenty of seating and lawn games. The mojitos are so refreshing. The trolley ride around the property was cursory at best, and the tour guide practically had her microphone in her mouth, making it hard to understand and appreciate the history of Bacardi before the tasting. The tasting itself is held in a classroom setting, where the guide walks through 5 different rums. The chocolate "pairing" was literally one tiny piece of chocolate that accompanied the final tasting. For context, I did a similar rum tour/tasting at Mount Gay in Barbados, and it was far more informative and, frankly, the rums were better tasting. Glad I visited, but would probably not return here on another visit to SJ.

The tour itself was good, it was the getting from port to site and then back to port. The traffic was backed up that it took twice as long in travel time.

The tour guide (Jomarie/ Mary) was great. She was well-versed in her knowledge of Bacardi. She was also very engaging and interesting. I expected the tour to be indoors but the less walking the better.

Can’t say enough good things about the Rum Tasting tour. Jomarie, the tour guide, did an excellent job explaining the history behind Bacardi and the special rums we were tasting. Besides being extremely informative her energy made it an exceptional experience. Highly recommend and hope you get Jomarie.

I did the tour and tasting. Our tour guide was wonderful and knowledgeable about Barcardi and their rums. She gave us tips on how to smell the rums before tasting them to get the optimal "taste" experience. Highly recommend if you like rum.

THIS TOUR WAS AMAZING! ITZY IS THE BEST TOUR GUIDE IVE LITERALLY EVER HAD. I had to put that part in caps so you understand! Whatever they pay her Im sure they dont pay her enough for how outstanding of a tour guide she is. She covered EVERYTHING. She was full of knowledge & I left the tour having learned so much about Rum. 100/10 ! I went for my birthday with my Husband & we had a great crowd of people & everything. The experience was amazing I highly recommend
